I am always reminded when I read about or happen to hear J.O. speaking, of a pastor in India that gets up at 4:00 a.m. every morning to walk 11 miles to the churches he has started, to do his daily rounds. He makes sure the flock is taken care of before walking those same 11 miles home at night. A generous donation was taken and the pastor, whose name is I believe is Nilinbar,was given a bicycle. His first response was “Great, now I can go further and and build more churches!” . I quess he’s not aware of the annointing God has for him. That he could have his best life now if he just didn’t follw the words of Christ so closely..Hummph! Some people! Thanks for all of your hard work you do Melvin.

Discovered this sight a couple of days ago. Great stuff . Very encouraging to see people who feel the same as me here in Wollongong Australia. The twisting of God’s word by those who are meant to be proclaiming it really gets me ticked off. Pastors aren’t to happy with me in this town since I started letting people know “tithing” just isnt in the bible. No,they dont want to discuss/debate it. Im just a divisive heretic apparently.

I can hardly stomach to look at Joel Olsteen; he’s so glazed over…look into his eyes; they’re so dark and empty (Kenneth Copeland has this same look). And eyes are supposed to be the light of the body or as is more commonly known light of the soul… Matt. 6.22 & 23 says: The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

I don’t know that I could subscribe to your assessment of John Osteen, Dee. He was staunchly Word Of Faith, and it seemed no heresy within that movement was too heretical for John to embrace. He aligned himself with Hagin, and Copeland, and Roberts, and all the rest of the Tulsa-rusalem Reprobates.

And the nut (Joel) apparently didn’t fall far from the nut tree.

To answer your question about Joel’s father John Osteen - no, he was a pretty powerful man of God who did go through scriptures. I listened to him many years ago and I have one of his books (I think it’s called “Confessions of a Christian”).

My favorite, he left a line for a donation to his mansion fund.

Thank you IC. Read the article. Tried to log on and i couldn’t. I just registered on your sight last night,which was Wednesday. I remember that crime. Wouldn’t accept my username. I have learned so much from these blogs. Thank you. I detected that you have no RESPECT for him either! People are still following him.Why do these people do this? Ignorant of the Bible,spoon fed? I am a former teacher,and it’s just ingrained in me to test things. Although i was burned before,through God’s grace in Jesus Christ,it will not happen again. I test everything now against God’s Word and if it doesn’t match up with it, see ya or i will question it. Been known to do that also. I did not realize he was like that or associated the bad company. I am in Tx. I do remember the crime. Will show my friend this and knowing my friend, see ya Wiley!
