I looked the pictures of the commenter’s, they are young and perishing because of “lack of knowledge” that is the most unfortunate part of this matter. And we all are partially accountable for this condition. With as many people, in this nation alone, that profess Christendom (I can’t even say C********y) who take pride in the knowledge that they have the favor, gifting, and the spirit, of the LORD which they claim to love and that loves them unconditionally, there is no way that the devil should be winning the battles (we true believers know that he has lost the war) that are being handed to him in today’s society.

God is not pleased. Just think about it, His so-called followers are bringing shame to His name while we concern ourselves with all of the nonsensical issues that we find ourselves involved in. Who is there to teach the truth? Who is there to lead by example? Who is there that believes you should fear the Lord? Who are their role models? Who is raising them? Have we forgotten that they are our future? Our future looks extremely bleak.

It is so spooky to me, I could cry , for real. I am serious, we need to practice being intercessors, our children are targeted by an enemy that we have allowed to creep in while we were unaware (doing our thing). Is that not the “mantra of the day”? “Keeping It Real”–“Doing your thang”–”I’m Doing Me” (new slang).

We have got to pray, and let the Truth of God’s Word be told.

Talks about playing that song (whatever it was) that goes “What if God was one of us, just a slob like one of us” in church and thought it profound.

He glorifies Carlton Pearson and the Inclusion Gospel, calling Carlton a “genius” and a modern day Galileo who will go down in history. So again, it becomes clearer how he manages to disregard the Word so smoothly. After all, we are ALL going to be saved no matter what.

Tonex also states that a lot of the New Testament is derived from Greek myths and philosophy.

Said Carlton made him see that God wasn’t trying to kill him. This relates to a previous statement that God isn’t a God of wrath like in the OT anymore. Talks to Carlton twice a week (so much for those who said what Carlton preaches is harmless).

Said he’s seen witches turn to Jesus, and that instead of condemning we should teach the witches that they are ALREADY saved, they just need to acknowledge the Blood.

Talks about “Bishop” Yvette Flunder, another “Gospel of Inclusionist who calls the church’s rejection of homosexuality a “psychosis” and “oppression”, Flunder said:

This sickness has resulted in the destruction of self-esteem, open vicious attack against the personhood of countless individuals and their families and has produced self inflicted theological and physical violence, duplicity and inauthentic leadership…”

She is Bishop(ette??) over a church much like the Metropolitan Community Church, known for its celebration of unrepentant Gay Christianity.

Tonex says when he thinks of how anointed she is he wants to cry, and “she gets it”. She can just say “Hey” and you feel the anointed because she is so in tune with the truth. She’s the “zenith”.

More pimping of the gay oriented Metropolitan Community Church as well as the Bishopettes’ City Of Refuge gay affirming church.

Also praising the Social Gospel along with its denigration of Christ.

Tonex says deliverance doesn’t mean to stop doing what you’re doing (not freedom from sin). Deliverance is the freedom to worship.

He has tracks on new albums with Dre and Snoop, Pussy Cat Dolls, working on Usher’s new record, Shakira’s new record, Janet Jackson, and has a new movie coming out.

As for criticism of working with these artists, “These niggas ain’t going to tell me what to do.” Says we will all buy his stuff anyway.

Host says he’s not a Christian,he’s one of God’s kids. Tonex agrees and adds “Rainbow kids”.

Tonex is also offering “Life Coaching” now too…….well, sign me up.

It’s the same principle in Salvation. God alone grants it, but He also grants the METHOD by which saving faith is conferred: The preaching of the Word.

Romans 10:17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God

Acts 15:7
God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

2 Tim 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

So you see, God has ordained that repentance and salvation are both brought about through the ministry of the Word. Therefore, for those who care about Tonex’s eternal destiny, the only means God has designated to bring him to repentance is to confront him with the Word.

We can’t MAKE Tonex repent. Tonex can’t MAKE himself repent. Only God can do that, and He has chosen to do so through the presentation of the Word.

Remember, it is the Word that COMMANDS all men everywhere to repent.

Acts 17:30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth (through the Word) all men every where to repent:

When we call for his repentance by citing the Word, we are not telling him to make himself repent. We are presenting him with the only means on earth which God uses to BRING people to repentance……..The Word.

He said this, as if to endorse such beliefs.

Besides, I knew of Tonex’s angst with the church, a couple of years ago, when he was going through his divorce, and complaining how the church was too stiffnecked and judgmental for him.

So no, I think the website is authentic…

It’s his page and Melvin, you were given bad advice because someone didn’t want this exposed, or they just don’t want to believe it can be true, it’s true.

Does he have to kill somebody for some of you to realize a false brother in your midst?

Plus, if this wasn’t his page, he would surely speak out about it (since he isn’t one for biting his tongue). Many artists who have pages made in their honor have made a statement indicating which are “fan” pages and which are pages of their own creation or run by their label representatives.

Upon sharing his Road Less Traveled blog (and the ones he has written since) with someone who knows him, they said this is something he has been doing/saying for years, but it is just now hitting more people. Apparently, he is a creature of habit. :-/

(MN: You may in fact be correct. I got an e-mail from Brenda in Baltimore about a day ago. She pointed out that there are several Tonex sites. I then did a Google search and came up with a bunch of MySPace sites. At this point, I am trying to figure out just what is out there, and just what is going on. I hope I didn’t get sucked in to a Hezekiah Walker type trap. I avoided that one a couple of years ago.

I hope I didn’t misreport. As I have consistently maintained, once a rumor is put out there it’s really tough to get back. Now that the suspicion that this might not be a site he is contributing to has developed, I have to figure out what’s going on. )
