She divorced in 2005, according to wikipedia, and now is remarried, her new husband is allready an executive director in the Ministries of KCM. Not a sign of practical holiness, but a sign of the times, God help us believers who still not are praying as we should. That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are three in one. Jesus is God’s son, and the Holy Spirit is God in us. Anyone who says otherwise needs to pick up their bible are read it once in a while. Half of the people who complain about Kenneth Copeland’s faith message are people who are too lazy to pick up the bible and actually read it to find out the truth themselves.

For those interested (and who want to waste their valuable time as I just did - LOL), Kenneth Copeland’s TV guest all this week is Donald Wead.
Here’s the scoop on Wead as found on his website:
–”Doug Wead is a presidential historian and New York Times bestselling author. He is a former special assistant to the president to G. H. W. Bush. Wead grew up a Pentecostal and was once a board member to one of the targeted six ministries.”

Copeland said Wead recently spoke to his board and supporters. He appears to be an advisor of sorts to the ministry from what I gather.
I found it interesting, to say the least, that Wead made certain to mention that Sen. Grassley is a Baptist. He seemed to suggest that this was the reason he was going after the Pentecostal Six.

Not only did he state this verbally on the show, he has written something similar in his latest blog entry -

Hmmm. “…to get rid of some doctrinal enemies…”

Another point addressed by Copeland and Wead during the TV show was the “misconception” spread by the media and Grassley (through video and print) that Gloria and Kenneth owned a big, sprawling mansion.
The audience was told that the Copeland’s don’t “OWN” that house. It is the parsonage and the ministry “OWNS” that - and everything else.
So there.

Okay….

Wead also mentioned that Copeland preached his prosperity message even when he was poor and would continue to do so even if everything was taken away from him.

Apparently, as it stands now Copeland plans to submit his information to the IRS only. Grassley can go pound caliche’ (Lois’ interpretation of what Ken said).

Copeland and Wead are to address each point/question this week.

It seems that they won’t Grassley’s investigation to be based solely on documents/records given to the I.R.S. via their filings and not by a seperate investigation. But like Senator Grassley stated many times, ENRON was in full compliance with the I.R.S. until he conducted a seperate investigation.

Servant, until (as you put it) “bad conduct, poor morals etc…someday find their way out of that person”, that person has NO BUSINESS in a pulpit. NONE.

The Bible NEVER gives even the suggestion that we should allow the spiritually immature,
or the carnal, or the heretic,or the wolf into the pulpit, then let them outgrow their “bad conduct and poor morals” while behind that pulpit.

Noni, I don’t understand what makes Truth of God a devil. He was just citing Shay’s antichrist statement. Jesus is within his own, not everybody. Not everyone was meant to receive Him. I do agree with you that during His short lifespan, He knew His Father and still does and He came to be an example and a light, also died for His Christian elect. You have people who has lived longer and never knew Him. He shall return and yes, we should all read our bibles. Absolutely.
