You come here because YOU KNOW that your efforts to make up answers for your own existence are void. But you’re afraid to trust God. So you mock we who beleive because it helps you momentarily calm your own inner fears. God does not owe you anything. You know you were created, but you’re afraid to trust what God has given in the Bible. Come judgment you have no excuse, because you had access to the truth and rejected it.

By the way, your language does nothing to help you make your case. In fact, it helps prove why you need salvation.

It’s amazing how you bible thumpers cannot even get on the same page. What’s even more amazing is that you thumpers cannot even get god to interpret those scriptures for you all and you end up arguing over it. That’s division my friend. You are right, they are right - but when is your god right? Is he ever? Is that why there are so many religions?

Have a serious debate about the original religions and why they disappeared or became pagan religions. Have a serious debate about who wrote and where your religions come from.

You even had a thread or two about politics/government and religion. They sleep in the same bed my friend! These folks along with your catholic bishops created this religion - this magical situation. Why doesn’t jesus or god do magic anymore?

The problem lies in the fact that most people have this distorted vision of some imaginary Jesus Who just wants us to be happy and give us all a Holy bear hug.(I’m not saying that you have this issue,just that most of the heathen and sadly MOST of the church does).

If you tell folks to love others as Jesus loved them these days, they are going to assert a Christ of their own imagination. WWJD is not a viable option in a stone cold ignorant church that really has no idea what He did or how He loved us.

Jesus was EXCORIATING in His denouncements of false teachers, and so were the Apostles and prophets. And, THAT was absolutely LOVING. Most folks that pass through here cannot see that. Jesus was about Truth and Love. You have to admit that most people want the Love but won’t accept the Truth.

Additionally,Jesus showed His love for us by opening our eyes to the false doctrine and pimping, and He demonstrates His love for those still in the web of deceit by commanding us to warn them.

As a former Pentacostal I have a problem with the whole Pentacostal movement. First let me ask you a few questions.

Is there going to be a latter rain as we near the end times?

Have you seen anyone with certain “gifts” such as healing and has a healing been documented?

Do you speak in tongues?

Do you believe in present day Apostles and Prophets?

Answer these questions so we can open up the debate.

Supposedly when a Minister is ordained, the person or people who ordains them, have had hands laid on them by other Ministers that can be traced all the way back to the Apostels.

When I was growing up, the title Bishop was reserved for only the most senior Ministers who had proved themselves in the Gospel over many years, and they were generally older Ministers, and there weren’t very many of them. The Bible even says such a person shouldn’t be a novis (see 1 Timothy 3:1-around verse 6 or so, this gives the qualifications of a Bishop). Bishop simply means, an officer of the church, not this high and might dignatary that people have made it today. The afore mentioned scripture eliminates probably 85-90% of all these so call Bishops we have today. It the tenants of the scripture were strictly held today, there is no way Thomas Weeks III, Clarence McClendon ect would have ever been put into that office.

And remember that everyone must introduce themselves properly, “Hello, my name is _________ and I am a sheeple.” Prayerfully, they want to be delivered, but then again, I have never seen so many people that want to be in bondage so bad that they fight to stay there, then get indignant because “we iz free!”…they need to leave that slave mentality alone….Jesus died and rose so that we could and (despite how they are living), I am living as though He is coming back, which He is. Besides, God said do not store up any treasures on earth where they can deteriorate (sounds like the mega-structure that will be mega-rubble in less than 50 years).
