The site’s readership has been growing and changing. New readers come in, old ones get tired of my humor and leave. But the bottom line is this: Every so often, I get a string of whiners telling me I shouldn’t use the awful names I use to describe the pimps - er, words like “pimps.” I then spend time letting them know that I am actually being very generous in what I call them. Rather than write a message from scratch, here is a posting from about two years ago. It discusses what God thinks of the Pimps. (BTW - I found the picture on the web. Unfortunately, I didn’t create it from scratch. Wish I had though.
Okay, here’s the thing. Some of you in the audience say I’m not loving. And I should be loving because God is love. I shouldn’t be judgmental of these people who preach a false doctrine. I should love them and pray for them.
And since I consider myself to be a man who at least tries to obey the Bible, I have decided to emulate God and say the same things He says. Since God is love, and God is perfect, then He only says loving things. So if I say the same things that God says, then I’m loving too. Right?
Okay, let’s run with that for right now.
Here are some of the same things God says about false teachers:
· They are ravenous wolves (Matthew 7:15-16)
· They are practicers of lawlessness (Matthew 7:22-23)
· They are hypocrites ( Matt 15:7-9)
· They are thieves (John 10:1)
· They are slaves of their own appetites (Romans 16:18)
· They are men of flesh (1 Cor 3:1-4)
· They are peddlers of the word of Christ(2 Cor 2:17)
· They are accursed (Galatians 1:6-8)
· They are tricksters and schemers (Ephesians 4:14)
· They are deluders (Ephesians 4:14)
· They are deceivers (Colossians 2:8)
· They are defrauders (Colossians 2:18-19)
· They are teachers of strange doctrine (1 Timothy 1:3)
· They are blasphemers, and have been handed over to Satan (1 Timothy 1:19-20)
· They are teachers of myth (2 Timothy 4:3-4)
· They are paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1-3)
· They are liars (1 Timothy 4:1-3)
· They are conceited and understand nothing (1 Timothy 6:3-4)
· They have gone astray (1 Timothy 6:20-21)
· They are evil men, deceiving and being deceived (2 Timothy 3:13)
· They are empty talkers, after sordid gain (Titus 1:10-11)
· They turn away from the truth (Titus 1:13-14)
· They are false prophets, false teachers, greedy exploiters (2 Peter 2:1-4)
· They are stains and blemishes, greedy, loving of wages of unrighteuosness (2 Peter 2:13-15)
· They are slaves of corruption (2 Peter 2:19-20)
· They are ungodly (Jude 4)
· They are rebellious people (Isaiah 30:9)
So I guess if I am going to emulate God, I should call the people who promote a different gospel wolfish, hypocritical practitioners of lawlessness who are enslaved to their own appetites, while being men of flesh and peddlers of the word, who by the way are accursed and deluding and deceiving, while teaching myths and paying attention to deceiving spirits, while at the same time being empty talkers and being greedy exploiters while being blemishes and stains, and being ungodly.
Hmmm. You know, I don’t really feel like typing this phrase every time I refer to the pimping inhabitants of the pulpit. I’ll just keep calling them pimps and pimpettes. It’s a lot more succinct.

Usually the folks who complain about the names are the same people who fall for the pimps’ games. Bottom line, they have been mostly reading the few verses the pimps have them to read.
They’re going to make up anything on twists of scripture to try and stop this effort. Everything from saying you are not showing “love”, to saying you should “just pray” for the pimps. Anything they hope gets you to shut up, they’ll say it.
I’m sure most of us who frequent this site have been called our share of names for referring to many of the most popular media preachers as pimps. They often reply that that Jesus never spoke in that tone. He always exemplified love and compassion. I usually reply “you really haven’t read the bible.” Below are just a few of the names Jesus called the Pharisees and other who strove against God.

We could go on but those who frequent this site are thrice the student of the word compared to the average church attendee. Just highlight these on your pocket bible and have the illiterate one read directly from the word. The pimp murder the very souls of men, they extort money from households with new schemes weekly. Need we mention widow’s houses and Paula White. They lock the doors to heaven and throw away the key. They are the worst. Witness in a parking lot and you will hear the stories of being pimped. Sit in your barber chair and once again listen carefully and the conversation is often about the false prophets on Tv.

What is so terrible is that most of the people discussed on this blog probably started out just fine until the money came and they became greedy and blinded. Although what you have pointed out is true, they all still deserve all of our prayers that they will REPENT!

These tricksters and their false gospel have crept in, and the world views their false gospel as Christianity. That makes my heart hurt because while Paul preached Christ, and Christ crucified, these men preach Christ for themselves and themselves only. “Its the gospel of fame.”
Ive got a question though. I hear many of the WOF guys talking about “activate your faith.” My pastor is preaching out of Genesis 15 about justification. He’s drilling “Grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.” I just thought about one of the WOF cliches that these men use among many. Can anyone explain the “activate your faith” stuff that these men tickle their congregants ears with. I never hear activating your faith to do something that the Bible promotes. Liek studying, helping the poor, widowed, and the orphans, or elderly, or even activating your faith to abstain from sin. But I hear this phrase usually when the pimp is giving the sheep the ole pep talk to give sacrificial offeirngs, love gifts, and faith gifts.
Can I, a sinner, depraved without Jesus Christ’s blood activate my faith, and what do they mean by these things? Is God the only one to activate faith? Who de-activated it?
I’m with you Melvin. Tell it how it is. In life we accept every lie they have told us. Many continue with Santa Claus nonsense, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy and a whole list of others. How many silly Americans are still hoping the weapons of mass destruction to show up. Society is conditioning people to accept lies and live them. It doesn’t strike me odd that anyone who would defend a pimp or pimpette would think otherwise. Their message caters to the world. It amazes me that so many so called christians will celebrate Christmas and tell their kids about Saint Trick. But when we as the true ministers will expose some lying thieving no good preacher some will say no don’t tell me about that stuff. I want to ask any parent that may be following a wolf. Would you intentionally tell you child that hot is cold and vice versa? What’s wrong with telling it like it is? It seems like some people just want to be in darkness or they want to be duped.

was actually kicked off a Christian site for posting some rather abrasive remarks. Oftentimes I went beyond what I should have. That being said I did however notice something about the individuals who ran the site. They like others with similar Christian websites have a very shallow view of Christianity. Now I’m not implying that they are not saved but really they are a victim of this present age. Political correctness now runs rampant even through Christianity and the neutral lets all get along mentality runs even through most Christians.
What I really see is a mild endorsement of what we rail against here by some who don’t even know it. Let me expound. We in the West rarely have any real conflict or suffer tribulation because of our faith. Because of this our attitude towards the truth is often laze faire. In other words, why rock the boat? Only when real persecution comes will we know the true depth of people who claim they are Christians.
I think in my heart of hearts most of the politically correct Christians would bend like a leaf if push ever came to shove. Their fragile little perfect world would come crashing around them causing them to even deny Jesus. Why? Simple. Their faith was rooted in nothing because it was NEVER challenged. Because of this people wish to hide their heads in the sand and hope that their picturesque view of Christianity in the West will never end. What you do here at Pulpit Pimps is question their reality. What would happen to these same people if the Muslim hordes ever captured them? What would they do? They would probably capitulate.
Do these same people ever witness to the lowly, poor, or downtrodden? Is there any sympathy in their hearts for those persecuted Christians? Do they ever tremble at night when they pray because of the awesome God we have relative to our sinful finite self? Are they ever convicted in their hearts of some deep rooted sin? I don’t think so Melvin.
These shallow Christians have no deep root nor do they have the ability for proper discernment. This is why they attack. It is because you question them just as Jesus questioned the Sadducees and Pharisees. They too were offended because the truth cut through their religiosity. And just like the Pimps, people oftentimes create a paradigm of Christianity which suit’s the needs and wants of man but lacks the truth. Besides, if you were receiving praise from everybody you would be no different than the Pharisees who constantly received praise by men.
One needs to only look at the cast and crew of TBN and notice the backslapping , praising, and dare I say worshiping of the Pimps who converge there. Take your challenges and insults as a barometer of truth and keep plugging away.

To The People who Defend These Pimps:
The church has gotten too lazy. We want someone else to do the work for us; therefore, people will get fooled. (I will use the same language I hear the defenders of WOF speakers use to illustrate a point). If you are working for someone else and your boss tells you I will pay you 1000 per week, but when you get paid, you got paid 425.00 per week. would you not question your boos concerning the money you are not receiving? The same for these pimps. If you read the word, you will know that a pastor or elder is to serve the people and not the other way around. The Bible tells us to test or judge the spirit or man. Deuteronomy 13:1-6 says if a prophet gives a prophecy and it does not come to pass, that prophet was to be stoned. Please mind you we do not stone here in this country, but the same principle applies. We need to test the ones that say they are men or women of God. Jeremiah23: 30-32 speaks about prophets who are saying “Thus saith the LORD” and God is saying, “I am against the prophets”. the prophets who cause my people to do error.
As a previous post said, many of them may have started out on the right track, but greed, 1 John 2:16 lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life has over taken them.
So you say, “Touch not God’s anointed and do my prophets no harm.” My question would be, whose prophets are they? They sure are not God’s since He rejected them.
We see several examples in scripture of prophets gone bad.

Not to mention the rebellion of many “in power” is not by accident (2 Thess 2:11-12 ; 2 Cor 4:4-5). Jesus calls a wolf just that for a specifc reason (Mathhew 7:15).
They are very cunning, smart, and instictive animals. Capable of ordering heirarchy within themselves and re-ordering when necessary.
They are not just dumb and wild animals. In Palestine (they may travel alone as well) (unlike in the US, Canada, or Asia) they are the special enemies of the sheep and goats as hinted by Gen 49:27, & Zech 3:3.
A wolf shall destroy the people of Jerusalem as prophesied in Jer 5:6.
So why (as a sheep) would one want to follow a wolf? How smart is it? Shouldn’t we learn the characteristics of one if we are the enemies of the wolves and all they seek to do is destroy us?? Jesus said “beware” himself.

Don’t know if you’ve ever talked about Mike Murdoch. But if you haven’t, I will. I had seen a couple commercials for his program, I figured “Eh, I’ll give it a go.” Well, If nothing else, I remember this quote:

I guess when Jesus said “if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? Or when He said that if you lend without expecting a return, that you will be sons of the Most High, He was just trying to make them feel good. The picture is absolutely hilarious! The wolf actually looks like he’s sneaking around. The devotees of the pimps as you call them get very upset when you kick over their sacred cow or smash the face of their particular idol. I criticized the tactics and theology of Juanita Bynum from my pulpit and was promptly questioned about why I would mention names. I reminded her that Paul mentioned names when he told the church he had turned Hymenaeus and Alexander over to satan so would would leran not to blaspheme in I Timothy 1:20. I am shocked that people are more concerned with the appearance of propriety rather than the necessity of warning people their souls are at risk. If some company was selling irons that burned people. This same devotee would want to know which company it was and would avoid purchasing it. Defending the truth ain’t always such a pretty job. Carry on.
