cont...

7) cont... I did not mean that all pastorys will fall, but out of the ones that do fall it is usually because of one of the 3 G's that I listed.

8) I'm single, and it is difficult for me to find a Good Christian Women, because many are looking to get all they can, and not give all they can. Guess where they got that from?

9) Remember the movie "It's a Wonderful Life?" It comes on during the Christmas holidays. I know it is just a movie, but I want you to see how a Prosperity Pimp would view George Bailey, who is the main character in the movie.

-George did NOT live in the best house in town, as a matter of fact it needed a lot of work.
-Mr Potter who was the greediest and meanest man in town offered George a job that would have made him one of the richest guys in town, but George refused it. "I bet you a Prosperity Pimp wouldn't have refused it. They would have quoted "The wealth of the wicked is stored for the righteous (Proverbs 15:6)," and that would be to cover their greed.
-George gave all he had, even to his own hurt. Now, I'm not saying I would do that or that is complete wisdom, but look at the man's motives.
-In the end, George was in trouble with the bank, owed thousands of dollars, and in trouble with the law... He was in so much trouble that he was thinking about killing himself.

Conclusion:
Prosperity Pimps, and you know who they are with their jets, and big smiles from ear to ear, would call George Bailey a fool. They would say he was "NOT" blessed, because he was in need, in trouble, and NOT financially BLESSED, which is an indicator for them of "IF God Approves of You or NOT!" They even would have said that George Bailey was greedy, because he should have wanted to have plenty of money, and in that way he could give it away. Basically, they would spin it and demonize George Bailey.

The angel in the end of the movie said to George that he had a "Wonderful Life." George was rich because he blessed every one, even to his own hurt. He was a good steward, and gave out of a motive to bless. He was the richest man in town, and in the end the movie his friends came to his rescue and blessed him beyond measure.

1) I like the story of Lazarus and the Rich man. Poor Lazarus goes to heaven, and guess where the Rich man goes? Luke 19:16-31

2) I thought it was hard for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God? Matthew 19:23

3) 1 Corinthians 8:1-13 Says that we are free to eat any food we want, but if our freedom causes a brother to stumble, then we should avoid it for their sake!
Prosperity Pimps stumble millions with their jets, multi-million dollar mansions, and lavish life-styles... Is this what Jesus had in mind when He told us to deny ourselves? Matthew 16:24

4) 1 John 2:27 says that we have an anointing to know the truth, and how so many can be fooled by the "gospel of greed" is beyond me.

5) Don't call it greed, say that you and God are in Covenant, and then you can do as you will.

6) God calls us to be "Good Stewards" of whatever he has given us (Matthew 25:15-25). We are not all called to be in the lifestyles of the rich and famous. We are actually bought with a price and slaves to God (I'm not posting the Koine Greek).

7) Greed and lust are seductive. The very person who discipled me is falling into the trap, which 10 years ago he use to warn us against with a message I will never forget on the 3 G's that cause almost all pastors to fall.

--1) Glory - God gets the Glory, so take your name off the bus.
--2) Girls - Don't mess with God's Girls.
--3) Gold - Don't mess with God's money.

@ Mike - exactly... he preaches classic oneness heresy, and is arrogant with it.

What adds to this danger is that he preaches strongly against pimps and other false teachers.

many of you are right. the thing that gets me about Jennings is the frequent use of Apocryphal doctrine (it must also be known that the wolves at the so-called Israelite Church of God in Jesus Christ AKA The Hidden Truth http://wwwicgjcmd.org
utilizes a Apocryphal doctrine ) and he is a bit TOO arrogant.(but so too are Hagee and the pimps) there are other qualms I have with jennings as well.

Hi TOG!! You know, this predilection to add the Apocryphal books to the Canon (especially after Michael Browns ode to historical ignorance "The DaVinci Code) simply mystifies me.

The Jews didn't consider them Canon, The early church never considered them Canon, the Reformers never considered them Canon, and even the clueless Catholic Church didn't include them in THEIR Canon until 1500 years or so into their reign of error.

I've read the Apocrypha (and as much of the Pseudepigraphic works as I could stand, which have absolutely NO resemblance to Scripture) . All these works were rejected for excellent reasons. Doctrinal junk, historical inaccuracy, false claims of authorship, contradiction with Scripture, fantasy/myth entirely inconsistent with Scripture, prophetic error, none are quoted or referenced by the writers of Scripture as inspired, they don't make claims of inspiration, etc.

As historical works (as an insight into the mindset of the writers and times, not as repositories of accurate historical fact) they have value. As a chronicle of heresies, they are fascinating. As texts to be used on par with Inspired Scripture?? NO.

I'm not saying that Jennings considers them authoritative.......that would certainly be my first question for him. But his inclusion of them in ANY way as part of preaching (unless to make a historical point) would send me straight out the door.

What about his denial of the trinity and belief that one must be baptized in Jesus name and speak in tongues to be saved? The godhead is one of the essentials of the faith like Christ's deity, virgin, birth, resurrection, and 2nd coming.

I have tried to reconcile the oneness position with biblical christianity but it just doesn't fit.Take a look at this analysis of the 2 positions http://www.bible.ca/trinity/trinity-modalism.htm

Is your preacher/pastor/prophet/Reverend/Bishop a divorced man/woman?
Is he "out" or "on the down low"
Does he like to get drunk
Does he twist scriptures?
does he smoke weed?
Does he worship a White "God", Black "God" Asian "God" or Hispanic "God"?
Is He a She
Does he/she care more about Profits and Losses than Prophets and Apostles?
does he/she say "Money Comin" (Money Cometh)?
Does he tell you to send $1,000 to TBN when YOU barely have enough to pay rent?

If any of the above apply to you......GET OUT FROM THERE NOW!

Bird, Mt 10:8 isn't speaking about giving money. In fact, it's a command that the ministers NOT take money for giving the Gospel.

Thanks Exposing the Truth, one more thing to consider with Gino (and again I don't have any ill will towards him, really!) - the fact that they have added extra books to the bible (i.e. the apocrapha). I'm a little troubled by this because I'm not convinced that they are as authentic and "God-breathed" as the current 66 books. At one point, i remember he preached against them, but now they have compiled a book called the "Holy Scriptures" which includes the 66 and the lost books. Its something to look out for as you follow him.

Thanks for the Correction(s)

I know he is NOT the most perfect preacher, but he is one of the closest to God's truth. and You are right about the tithing aspect as well. Christians Must Give ALL We Can As Christ gave Himself! I am reminded of the scripture where the woman gave all that she had. The poor widow in Jesus parable ( Mark 12) who gave her all to the temple treasury had the qualities, which our Lord was always commending - whole-hearted, self-giving, generous without reserve. Paul points us beyond her to him who "though he was rich yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." (2 Cor 8.9).
when I thought about the tithing part. I was thinking about the pimps' "tithe to thrive" concept. As he (jennings) has said on one of his shows he humbly said that we "all are in need of improvement ". and that is one thing that I credit Jennings for. he has corrected himself and his church's doctrine to be more scripturally correct (evidenced by dropping the title "Apostles faith" from his church among other things) At least he is making a serious effort to become more perfect in Christ while the pimps continue their need for greed, ignoring the Almighty. I do not endorse Jennings 100% ,but he and many like minded preachers are doing their part to preach a gospel of holiness rather than pimpery ,carnality and broken promises.

Peace.

Exposing the Truth,
I do like Jennings, however he does teach that tithing is binding on New Testament Christians, and that you MUST speak in tongues in order to be saved. I know this because i have followed him for many years and possess alot of his teaching material. While i do admire him for his boldness in proclaiming God's word without comprimise, and calling false prophets to task. Still, there are some doctrinal flaws that he needs to address as well. Take it for what its worth.

Amen brother, we need more Men of God that are like Pastor Jennings, Maxdaddy and of course our brother Melvin who have the guts to expose the hustlers like Hagee and Hinn, among too many others
and the "Beggars Network" TBN. this pimpery is a CANCER on the Body of Christ and His Church.

the wolves need to be stopped. God Bless all those who expose his real truth to people and strip off the carnal gospel of the old man. as it is written We must "strip off the old man and put on the clothing of the new man" The "old man" gospel personified by the is a direct road to Hell!
