Interestingly enough, TD Jakes announced from the pulpit that he does not know if Jesus is the only way to God. After mentioning that he preaches “the way” not “a way,” Jakes stated in his sermon on the “Body of Christ, ” no doubt, this past Sunday at the 8am service, that he is not certain whether people under the curse of the law (Gal 3), people who don’t know Jesus Christ, will not be in heaven. He posited that he does not care if Hindus, Jews, or any other religious folk believe. That’s God’s judgment. If they are in Heaven, he won’t complain, he stated. This problem was emphasized more as I meditated on it. The Lord showed me how dangerous these guys ignorance really is. To say you don’t know, is to say that Paul was wrong when he said in Romans 3 “all have sinned.” If all have sinned, and all are unrighteous before God, then we need Jesus, the perfect sacrifice, to save us. By saying we are unsure, we say that maybe all are not sinners, and maybe everyone does not need Jesus. Either we need him or we dont. More specifically, either everyone needs him, or no one does. It’s that simple.

No need to meet and discuss how to spread the message of Christ in truth, tell people if they don’t accept Christ AIDS or not they’ll burn in hell and seek for people claiming the Lord’s name to turn from evil that causes AIDS to spread, when you can just talk about AIDS and secular prevention methods, to get your name in the national news and paid!

(MN: But if all I do is preach abstinence and Jesus in church, how will I get my picture in the papers, magazines, and television, and talked up on the radio.

What do you want to bet the thrust of the “meeting” will be that we are to treat the victims with kindness and compassion (and indeed we should), but very little on the need to change one’s attitude toward the very behavior that destroys people to begin with? Let’s see if the word “It’s not a matter of exercising safe sex. It’s a matter of exercising Holy sex” comes out of any of these pimps’ mouths. )

Actually you are correct about the end times. Unfortunately there would be an increase in false teachers during the end times as well as people with itchy ears not wanting to listen to sound doctrine. Hmmmm! Pluck the plank out of your own eye before you take the speck out of some one elses. Basically stop watching people and there business and deal with the stuff in your life. Does it boost up your own ego to mess with some elses character. The bible does say Jesus is the ONLY way, to God. Read it for yourself. This is sad, listeniing to you guys on here ranting off negatively about someone you don’t know personally. It is true all that glitter is not gold, and you must understand that Pastor T. D Jakes is a man, a human being. None of us are perfect and we all make mistakes, but just know that it is he who has to give an account to God on judgement day for every word that he speaks out of his mouth. None of know how God sees him, as none of us are God, Please concerntate on your relationship with Jesus, so that he can guide you, and lead you to the thruth . I have found Jesus to be true, and I know the he is the way the thruth and the life. And if you don’t belive that I urge you to pray and be open, and ask for the real God to “please stand up”. I know that it is Jesus and if you are open and serious, you will definitely find him. He said seek and you will find me. So do all that you need to do to seek. These are the end times & Christ is going to retun soon.Youwill have to be accountable to him. So prepare yourself. Instaed of wasting your time judging some one else. God Bless you!

You all need to stop judging T.D Jakes. If he has done wrong, the very same God we serve will one of two things. God will either forgive, or condemn. It is not up to us to make judgements. Also keep in mind, if T.D Jakes has failed in his duty to send the truth of the gospel out, then God has some one who will. Because the word of God can’t be stopped, those people you feel have been misled will have the opportunity to hear the truth. Those who are real Christians need to pray for Jakes, and those who are so quick to look at mote in some one else’s eye, not seeing the beam in their own eye.

(MN: Let me make sure I understand this. I shouldn’t judge T. Dexter, but it’s okay for you to judge me. Interesting. How did you grow to be comfortable with that glaring contradiction? )

That guy’s boasting about himself after the fact was especially nauseating. Melvin is right, if you check into his site more, just like Muhammad, the man claims he is the one Jesus said would come.

All a bunch of false teachers all claiming the name of the Lord, Matthew 24:5.

I’m waiting for the ones who will actually show the signs and wonders many are looking for. Not this fake Benny Hinn stuff, but the guy with bad doctrine who actually can have a doctor check someone out afterwards and even the doctor be fooled because they rely on a physical sign, Matthew 24:24-25. Everybody looking for a “sign” and not carefully sticking their faces in the scriptures is in trouble.

Paul boasted of his infirmities, not in how many false teachers he could shut down.

Just a curious observation. After coming to this site nigh on a month ago I actually started back listening to some of personages on TBN in an effort to identify some of the heresies and apostasies discussed on this site. As I said in a previous post or I think an email to Melvin, I stopped listening to TBN because I believe subconsciously it stopped appealing to me (thank God). Anyway surprise surprise last night Jakes was there saying on one of his clips which intersperses his sermons “I am not a prosperity preacher, I don’t believe in a prosperity gospel” I’m parphrasing now, he went on to say riches, houses, cars and money isn’t everything, but he doesn’t think that we should be in state of poverty but that we should have some balance where we should be able to pay bills and live comfortably. He further said the gospel he believes in is one of Jesus crucified and resurrected.

Melvin I am sorry I don’t have a copy to send to you but it was on TBN last night at around 6pm. Is he genuinely making a change? is he trying to preserve his image? I guess we will have to continue to observe. I just found it was really curious given all that is brewing with the book from the individual who is asking these persons to resign from their ministry.

Just thought this would be of interest to the members of the site.

(MN: Hey, if T Dexter were to change his views and make a stand for the Gospel, I would be first in line to welcome into the fold. One thing though, I’m still suspicious if only because he broadcasts on TBN. I know guys like Stanley do as well, but that just makes me wonder about Stanley’s organization.

But more than that, I do believe T. Dexter is still raising money for the Tele-pimp. )

Bishop is yet my spiritual leader. We are never to compromise the Living Word of God. My uncle is a Muslim, and he sits in my face and say things like, don’t nobody want to her the name Jesus on television or mentioned in the public. He knows that I am a christian and he is aware of my position. I believe in Jesus Christ, that he died and was raised from the dead, and is the Son of God. Romans 10:9-10. I am meek, so I disagreed, and grabbed my purse and left the dinner. His daughter grew up as a muslim, and three Sunday’s ago, I saw she and her husband walk down the to the altar of the Potters House and gave $1000.00 to Clay Academy for the education of our children. When I got up and walk, I said nothing harsh, but I was talking to God on my way out his front door. It that question would have been asked of me from the muslim. I would have grabbed my bible, and read Romans 10:9-10. If she would have required more information, I would invite her to a structured and much needed bible study for relating the bible to Muslims. I am meek, and rather walk in love, in prayer and let God expose and provide greater wisdom where God’s wisdom is needed. We have no time to point fingers, sometimes it is better to pray and ask God to open the eyes and speak to the heart of this person, that may have compromised or applied an incorrect response or answer.
