Some of you out there are still insisting on defending the pimps who grace this site. You accuse me of slander, lying, and all kinds of other stuff.

Take a look at this YouTube clip and tell me these men are not either crazy or liars. I insist they are liars. And I also insist that they think you are too stupid to read your Bible - the Bible that clearly contradicts all of their heretical teachings.

Listen to what Hinn says about the Trinity, about Adam and Adam’s visiting the moon, and callings us gods.

Listen to Benny’s own words. They’re not out of context, they’re not twisted, they’re not distorted.

Be sure to listen to what Ken Copeland says about God - that he’s about six feet two inches tall, and weighs about a couple of hundred pounds, and exercised faith to create the universe.

And don’t miss Mr. Crouch’s exposition on the fact that we are little gods.

These men are false prophets, condemned by the words of their own mouths. They preach another Jesus and you would do well to stop supporting them with your time, your treasure or your talent. Dump them. Run away from them. Don’t have anything to do with them.

ok let me get this correct.

1. There are 9 Gods.
2. Adam was superman.
3. Man are little gods, and are NOT human.
4. God is just some dude, about my height, that created the heavens with his hand which is 9 inches long.
5. Adam was not a subordinate to God, he was God manifested in the flesh?

….see i knew something was wrong with Marvel comics.

he had a cape with a capital “A” on it, and Eve was Louis Lane. He lost his powers when Eve took Kryptonite from the devil and gave it to him. Ever since he was just living as Clark Kent.

Oh yeah, and the myth is that God actually made him on planet Krypton and catipulted him down here on Earth and his space ship landed on the garden of Eden.

As far as i believe, this is the most accurate discription that the Bible gives.

This is the gist of the Prosperity Gospel. Think about it. When you believe that you are a “little god” than it is quite understandable as to why you would believe that you can name it and claim it. The ancient Pharos also believed they were gods and they also had wealth, were worshiped by others, and had an ego the size of the TBN complex where the grand heretic Paul Crouch resides.

As for myself I recognize that I am fallen and am in need of a savior. My works are as filthy rags. I and everyone else here is inherently evil. As for myself I have a healthy dose of reverential fear of the Lord. At night when I pray I confess my sins, pray for the salvation of others, and ask God to expose other areas of sin in my life. You and I on this website understand that WE ARE NOT LITTLE GODS. What is most disturbing is how the sycophants can come on here and stand up for these paganistic pulpit pharos.

The reason this tragedy continues is because these pimps and pimpettes actually believe their own hype. The fact that any of this mess can spew from their mouths show their complete and utter disrespect for Christianity. I am so grateful that Jesus’ Holy Spirit led me to this site and Pastor John Coleman’s site. My Christian walk has become so much more sound.

I head up the women’s ministry at my local church. As we discuss a lot of issues affecting Christian women, primarily Black Christian women, I am being met with a lot of opposition. Sadly, a lot of the teaching in my church for the past 13 years has centered around Word Faith teaching and everything that entails (I live in Columbus, Ohio so every Pastor here wants to be the next Rod Parsley…ugh). I have only been at the church for the past 6 months and now I head up the women’s ministry. I know that GOD placed me in that position for a reason–for me to boldly go where no one in that church have gone…to the true, sound Word of GOD. There has been somewhat of a resistance to my style of teaching and the ensuing discussions because I don’t endorse Word Faith doctrine. I have had to point out error and bring forth correction. It’s not easy and sometimes I feel that I am encircled by a pack of wolves. My spirit is vexed at times. However, I will not back down from the truth–which is GOD’s uncompromised word. My Pastor feels that I am too harsh in my approach. I don’t feel that I am being harsh at all. Rather, I am not willing to pander to any of the women’s sinful lifestyle in the hopes of not offending. The reason that a lot of Pastors are not willing to preach against sin is because they have turned the pulpit into their livelihood. They feel that saying the wrong thing will take food out of their mouths. This reason alone is why I believe that Pastors should hold a job outside of preaching. Therefore, they will not have to tip-toe around the issue of rampant sin within the Body of Christ. Laymembers know that they have the upper hand on their Pastors, especially when the Pastor is too lazy to get out there and hustle like a real man (same goes for these so-called “women pastors”).

It really is sad.

Julia, it is strange, but when reading your testimony one scripture came to mind. And i wonder why ministries don’t follow this example:

2 Thessalonians 3:6-13

“6 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we give you this command in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: Stay away from all believers[c] who live idle lives and don’t follow the tradition they received[d] from us. 7 For you know that you ought to imitate us. We were not idle when we were with you. 8 We never accepted food from anyone without paying for it. We worked hard day and night so we would not be a burden to any of you. 9 We certainly had the right to ask you to feed us, but we wanted to give you an example to follow. 10 Even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.”

11 Yet we hear that some of you are living idle lives, refusing to work and meddling in other people’s business. 12 We command such people and urge them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and work to earn their own living. 13 As for the rest of you, dear brothers and sisters, never get tired of doing good.”

Lisa, here is a little something for you to teach the women unfortunate enough to sit under your tutelage. Oh,and BTW, I have the Benny Hinn statement in question on tape. Benny was referring to Adam being a SUPER MAN……..NOT SUPERMAN. he wasn’t making that comparison the way you suggest. Now,back to our previously scheduled program already in progress:

one DOES have to actually be able to put verses in their context though. Have you ever actually read the verse in question?? Let’s see, shall we??

Ps 105:11-15 “To you I will give the land of Canaan as the allotment of your inheritance,” When they were few in number, indeed very few, and strangers in it. When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people, “He permitted no one to do them wrong; yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.”

Now………who are the “Anointed” here??? Kings specifically (1Sam. 12:3,5; 24:6,10; 26:9,11, 16,23; 2 Sam. 1:14,16; 19:21; Psalm 20:6; Lam. 4:20). Who are the prophets?? Those who spoke directly for God, inspired for infallible and inerrant utterances by the Holy Spirit, and through whom came Scripture. We don’t HAVE infallible, Scripture writing prophets anymore, nor do we have leaders who are anointed above the Body of Christ like the OT kings.

Ever heard of context?? it’s where you put verses within their literary and historical settings so folks don’t go off making foolish and unBiblical assumptions about Biblical texts, wresting them to their own destruction.

What is God talking about there?? About protecting His people from physical harm by their enemies. PHYSICAL HARM. You cannot tear words out of their context and make them say whatever you want them to say.

“Harm” here does NOT mean saying something TRUE about someone, whether in leadership or not. David refused to TOUCH GOD’S ANOINTED in Saul too……..but he SURE AS HECK told the truth about Saul, and it wasn’t pretty. Touching God’s anointed here AGAIN means to do PHYSICAL HARM.

1Sa 26:8 Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy (Speaking of SAUL, God’s Anointed) into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him (PHYSICAL HARM), I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not [smite] him the second time. 1Sa 26:9 And David said to Abishai, Destroy (KILL……PHYSICAL HARM) him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD’S anointed, and be guiltless? 1Sa 26:10 David said furthermore, [As] the LORD liveth, the LORD shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish.
1Sa 26:11 The LORD forbid that I should stretch forth mine hand (Again, physical harm) against the LORD’S anointed: but, I pray thee, take thou now the spear that [is] at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and let us go.

So,we see that to touch or harm God’s anointed is to do them PHYSICAL harm. Why do you want to twist it into something else?? Just to make it perfectly clear that “touching” and “harm” do not refer to saying something true about leaders, let’s see what David (who did NOT touch God’s anointed) said about God’s anointed, Saul. It ain’t nice. Read the rest of the chapter. David says to Saul that he is unjust for pursuing David, that he is seeking to murder David for no reason.

Now,if I were to say that Benny Hinn is a liar, that is a documented fact. Did I “touch” God’s anointed?? Not according to the Bible. I did nothing more than what David did………tell the truth about a leader, which is precisely what Paul TOLD us to do as well. He put Hymenaeus and Alexander and Diotrephes on blast too, along with the leader of Crete. He told us in Timothy to rebuke sinning leaders PUBLICLY so that others would fear to follow in their sinful ways, so it’s not just an Apostle thang either.

If that is “touching”God’s anointed, why did Paul do it?? Why did David do it?? Why did he command US to do it??

If telling the truth about a leader is “touching” God’s anointed, what was Paul doing in Gal 2:12-14 calling Peter a hypocrite publicly?? Wasn’t Peter anointed?? If “touching”means” saying the truth about a leader rather than physical harm, then Paul stands condemned before your doctrine. I think I’ll stand with Paul, thanks.

“Touch not my anointed” NEVER in the ENTIRE Bible EVER means ANYTHING except PHYSICAL harm. And as for speaking truth to leaders, we are commanded by Biblical teaching and Biblical example to call out publicly those in leadership who are in sin and harming the cause of Christ.

Now,since you want to drag this Scripture kicking and screaming into the New Testament, and shove it into meaning that the “anointed” are ministers, let’s see who the New Testament actually says the “anointed” are. PSSSSSST………they are NOT the leaders but the church. It’s EVERY saint. This is NOT the Old Testament where SOME of God’s people are anointed, and others are not.

2Cr 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed US (ALL SAINTS), [is] God;

1Jo 2:27 But the anointing which ye (ALL THE SAINTS) have received of him abideth in you (ALL THE SAINTS), and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you (ALL THE SAINTS) of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you (ALL THE SAINTS), ye shall abide in him.

There is not one single text in the New Testament that limits the anointing to leaders like it was in the Old Testament. The ANOINTED today are NOT the leaders, but the ENTIRE Body of Christ.

Paul was a leader, and he called those who checked what he said against Scripture to see if it was true “noble” (Acts 17:11). John told us to “test all things” because there are many false prophets gone into the world (1 Jn 4:1).

David himself, who was God’s anointed, received the BLISTERING rebuke of Nathan for his affair with Bathsheba and his murder of Uriah the Hittite her husband. If it is “touching God’s anointed” to speak the truth about them, why didn’t David say so and rebuke Nathan??

And let’s not forget the MANY instances where false prophets were put on blast in the Bible either.

Jer 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

Lam 2:14 Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.

Jer 2:8 The priests said not, Where [is] the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after [things that] do not profit.

Jer 5:31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love [to have it] so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

Of course, there are a multitude of others as well. But this should suffice.

SO……….let’s put this misuse and twisting of “Touch not my anointed” to bed. It’s far better to remain silent about a Scripture than misuse it Monkey.”

Putting verses into their proper context (not to mention their proper COVENANT) clears up a great deal of confusion. But folks like to have their ears tickled by the current crop of uneducated Biblical illiterates, twisting such verses in an attempt to extract cash from the sheeple “Cuz dey is on da TEEVEE and mus’ know sumpthin”.

Lisa, Benny Hinn is a fraud and a demonstrated liar. Come on back and I’ll document it for you. Meanwhile, it should gravely concern you that you lack the discernment to see it already.

Your last posting didn’t feel like a drive-by, but felt like you rode past on a tricycle and squirted us with a water pistol. My heart goes out to whatever group of singles who had to sit under the gibberish you mistake for bible teaching. Especially since you were telling them to “tap the spiritual” as if it were an experiment, and not walk in the spirit, which is what we are commanded to do by scripture. Maybe you get your doctrinal training from the 9th person in Benny Hinn’s godhead. Have you ever encountered a person who had bad breath, and to be polite you offer them a mint as an indicator??…Lisa my dear, considering how rotten your doctrinal understanding is, I offer you the bible…Only do not consider it a tic-tac…no, no, realizing the urgency of your situation, this is more like a bottle of Listerine…Super Large…drink…swish…gargle…spit…rinse…keep going until the bottle is empty…

Lisa,

WHY ARE YOU YELLING? YOUR POINT MIGHT BE BETTER TAKEN IF YOU DIDN’T USE ALL CAPS!!!
But then again it might not be because your misuse of scripture invalidates it. You used the “touch not mine anointed…” scripture completely out of context. It has nothing to do with talking about or “calling out” false teachers and preachers. Go back and read 1 Chronicles 16 in its entirety and you’ll see.

Other than the scripture you misquoted above, find one scripture or example in the Bible that requires us to sit back like mutes and do nothing when false prophets and teachers are spewing their incorect doctrine. In fact, I think you’ll find the exact opposite. Paul exposed false teachers. Check out the books of 2 Corinthians and 1 and 2 Timothy. We can’t just sit back and expect false teachers to reform and change on their own because they won’t. Instead, they’ll spread their poison to unsuspecting people and people who take their words as “gospel” and don’t read the Bible for themselves. Do you think that’s what God wants?

Some might think I’m wrong or overexaggerating, but in my opinion, the church is almost in crisis because of these so-called “anointed” people who misinterpret and twist the Word of God for their own purposes. We’ve got people who believe that they can buy their way into miracles and who believe that in order to receive from God they have to “sow seeds” (i.e., give money). We’ve got people who refuse to go to the doctor because they’re waiting for their favorite “prophet” to come to town to lay hands on them. We’ve got people who don’t have two nickels to rub together sending money to television evangelists for anointed healing cloths and anointed water. We’ve got churches full of people who sit close-mouthed each week listening to preachers who spew false teachings. We’ve got people who are in over their heads financially because they’re listening to preachers who are tellling them that they’re supposed to be rich because Jesus was rich.

You’re right, Lisa. God is not mocked and these false teachers and preachers had better be more careful about what they’re doing and saying.

Go do a Google on the ragin Cajun Jesse D. and you will find some of the most bizarre statements about his personal encounters with Jesus. In the Bible any time someone encountered the Lord tremendous fear fell upon them and they were brought to their knees. Jesse on the other hand just started chit chatting with Jesus and many of the other saints both Old and New Testament. He even described David with red hair and a beard. Come to think of it his description was more like the Burger King mascot AKA the King. LOL! Usually the definition of a pimp is one who can hustle and pry the money from the masses. Anyone hear about Kenneth Copeland’s $2 million birthday gift? http://www.ministrytodaymag.com/blog/2007/01/play-money.html

WOW! I read the story and I was more surprised that Kenny was turning 70 years old. You know the devil sure keeps these people around for a LONG time. Old Oral Roberts is in his 80s and he is still holding out for that last dollar he can bilk from the masses. Me on the other hand because I’m actually saved and born again I find God leading me away from earthly things and steering me towards seeking him.

To Kyle,
I had to laugh when I read your comment about the devil keeping these heretics around for a long time. If God’s willing, I hope to get your age and still be blessed by the Lord. It sounds like you may be between your 70’s or 80’s but you don’t have to answer that. Anyhow God Bless.

To Kyle,

I apologize for that comment. The reason I thought you were old was because I thought since you were talking about the old pimps, maybe you were about their age, meaning you have little but you are blessed as opposed to them being old and still doing the devil’s work for gain. I misunderstood, but God bless anyway.

This is kind of off topic, but is there is a correlation between Word-Faith(WoF) proponents VS truly saved Bible believing Christians and the idea of persecution/tribulation? For example I find that most Pentacostal/Holiness/Wof believe that they will never encounter severe persecution. And if they do it is a sign of thier “lack” of faith. On the other hand, most people who reject this form of blasphemus Christianity see persecution/tribulation as proof of our allegiance to the true Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Also, I find that many of the afore mentioned WoF heretics tend to lean towards Pre-trib, where those of us who reject such heresies tend to believe in post-trib/other. Just an observation.

This question has nothing to do with this post but I respect the knowledge of most members of this message board. I am not an advocate of proseperity gospel but Psalm 112:1-3 seems to have a promise of prosperity in it. It reads “Praise ye the lord, Blessed in the man that fearth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seen shall be might upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house; and his righteosness endureth forever” I do understand that as Christians we certainly face persecution but the question that arrises to me from this passage is: If i am obedient to God is there a promise of material wealth for me?

JP, i think whats happening is that you are correct interpreting scripture but not applying it correctly. The one you just quoted was only applied under the Old Covenant, which was a phyisical covenant, this entailed physical blessings and curses. Therefore a it was common that one could assume the measure of a person’s blessings based upon material possessions, number of children, live stock…etc. To make it short, the Old Covenant was a physical covenant.

Ok, now that Christ came he gave way to a different ministration or Covenant which is based on the Spirit. Therefore, the blessings are based upon salvation, and the possession of God’s character. One of the major examples of what i’m saying is in the book of Revelations.

To the Church in Laodicea
14″To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. 15I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16So, because you are lukewarm–neither hot nor cold–I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. 19Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. 20Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. 21To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

After reading this you would ask, “how could a person be rich yet be poor, wretched, and blind at the sametime?” something to think about

Note to Melvin: Per your request (and to show my sincerity that I took what you said seriously, the name is provided….. G² was the old one. Double G (G²) should be pretty recognizable, I hope)

(TOG) “The one you just quoted was only applied under the Old Covenant, which was a phyisical covenant, this entailed physical blessings and curses. Therefore a it was common that one could assume the measure of a person’s blessings based upon material possessions, number of children, live stock…etc. To make it short, the Old Covenant was a physical covenant.
That’s a bit of a broad statement, don’t ya think?…..

We understand that riches are not necessarily asign of God’s blessing, and that we now have spiritual blessings in Christ. Still, I could argue from the other side as well and say that there were people in the Old Testament who didn’t have physical blessings and were considered “cursed” by those around them and yet were rich in God because of their faith in Him (ex. what to make of Rahab the prostitute, Ruth, David before He was King)…..

Though they never had Super Riches/Money at times of their lives to show God’s blessing, that’d not to say that the Lord thought it was wrong to bless them physically at some point, or that wealth was inherently wrong, does it?

Even though the “prosperity” message is way off, that’s not to say that the Lord doesn’t want His people EVER to prosper only in Spirit and never physically, does it?

Where, then, does the line end and begin if everything in the Old Covenant was about physical? Do we only have spiritual blessings to handle? I’d consider having the bills paid miracuously when I knew I didn’t have the money for it, living in a home, having people supply me with materials like a car, clothes, and food, or even having finances come in to fund things for building the kingdom like giving to the poor, feeding the homeless, mission trips and so many other things I’ve experienced pretty real physical blessings.

Are you saying that God NEVER operates in giving physical blessings of any kind anymore (all this apart from just the subject of wealth)??

“If I am obedient to GOD, is there a promise of material wealth?”

Jp Caine, in my natural life, I only have three material needs: food, clothing, and shelter.

Where in the Bible does it state that I must have the equivalent of a steak dinner just to consider myself blessed? At times, I only eat a bowl of rice and I still give thanks to GOD for supplying my needs.

Where in the Bible does it state that I must be dressed in the latest of fashion just to consider myself blessed? I shop primarily at consignment shops and find cheap clothes that shield me in the winter and keep me comfortable in the summer. As long as I wash my clothes, iron them, and keep up my hygeine and overall appearance, then I am blessed.

Where in the Bible does it state that I must have a big home in order to be blessed? I have a one bedroom apartment that is comfortable, affordable, and well within my budget. It is furnished with the basic of necessities. I am blessed because I know that a lot of people that live in these big, fancy homes wish they had the comfort that I experience daily.

AMEN Julia! Where in the Bible does it say that we have to own a late-model automobile to drive back and forth to work instead of taking a bus and a train? I’ve been blessed with the ability to walk to the bus stop, get on a train, come home the same way and, in driving rain, have an umbrella to shield me. I thanked the Lord (as I walked through a cemetary after dark to my apartment) for having an umbrella in the first place, BUT also having a warm, cozy 3-bedroom apartment to live in w/my 2 grandchildren and my daughter. We had plenty of food, a bathtub and shower, beds, a washer/dryer, TV, AND a job! Shopping at consignment shops was/is fun and I am blessed by the fabulous bargains He has let me find—one-of-a-kind at that! I remember having thought on several occasions, “Queen Elizabeth doesn’t live any better—all this, and Jesus too? HALLELUJAH! to the Lord Jesus Christ for ALWAYS providing for us!

Great posts everyone! I have discovered in my young life (I’m 32, married 9 yrs. w/2 kids) that a true RELATIONSHIP with our Lord drowns out the lure and lust for material things. A year or so ago my conversations w/a few friends were about some of the latest things that the world had to offer but now we speak almost on a daily basis about being Bereans with the Word. I am so grateful for the love and understanding that I have experienced with Jesus Christ that I can hardly stand it! Knowing the Truth without the church “hype” has caused me to see and experience Christ like never before. Can you tell I love my Jesus?

Good to see your an english teacher Beryle. If we are ever going to educate people and protect them from false teachers we have to learn to embrace them and not spell check everypost and make sure proper grammer is used. I have thick skin so i could care less about someone pointing out my flaws or mistakes but to a person who is sensitive they can easily turned off by the way people respond on this post. Beryle your could really work on being meek and gentle. Fyi i didnt reread my post so there are more than likely going to be grammer mistakes. thanks

How refreshing your comments are, Julia! So many are confused about the plight of Christians globally. Many are imprisoned, hungry, and being bombed out of their homes and churches. If one has food, clothing, and shelter, they are truly blessed. If anyone doubts this, a missionary trip should all that’s necessary to remove all doubt.

Proverbs 30:8
Keep deception and lies far from me,
Give me neither poverty nor riches;
Feed me with the food that is my portion

There is a church/ministry in the metropolitan area of Atlanta, GA having their third annual “Super” Sunday/Debt Cancellation Sunday (02/04/2007).

This is where the Pastor askes the congregation to “sow” a “seed” to assist in paying off debt related to “soft” costs accumulated as a result of construction of and/or purchase of buildings, churches (i.e. excludes physical “buildings” or hard costs, etc…). He also implies that if they want to be millionaires they have to sow seeds.

The Pastor always displays a powerpoint of how the money raised is to be allocated (leases, equipment, furniture, etc…). The financial goal for the last three years has been $1 million. Approximately $700K was raised in 2005 and and one half that, $300K, in 2006.

The Pastor never, and has STATED in the pulpit that he never intends to, shares the TOTAL/WHOLE financial status/state of the church, including monies raised and SPENT!!! He has stated in the pulpit not to worry about how the money is being SPENT because God will deal with anyone (e.g. ministers) that does anything wrong (financially).

The Bishop has asked 1,000 persons to give $1,000. He stated that God would give the money back to them because he always gives “seed” to the “sower”. He stated that the congregation should consider BORROWing the money if they wanted to give and didn’t have it to give - he also stated that it would only cost $83 per month to pay the money back (in my opinion he assumes that you don’t have to pay interest).

He has even gone so far as to use his experience as an example. He borrowed money on two occassions, $15000 and $10000 to purchase 2 cameras. Thereafter, he received $15000 from a speaking engagement and $7000 from another. He stated that he used his earnings to pay off the loans. He stated that since he sowed the seeds (purchased the cameras), and God blesses sowers, God blessed him with the money to pay the loans off (speaking engagements).

Firstly, he has a calendar and knows his speaking engagements well in advance. Secondly, he is the only one reaping the benefits of the camera - he sells cds, dvds and tapes at the end of each service and he (his “personal” ministry) collects every penny, not the church/ministry! The cds, dvd, tapes are recorded on “church” equipment. The cds, dvds, tapes are sold in the “church” bookstore. The persons in the church bookstore are not paid employees but “church volunteers”.

He stated to the congregation that the book of Haggai warns that if the congregation doesn’t take care of the house of God, God will “blow” on their money and they will have “holes” in their pockets!

In my opinion, the Pastor is not walking in the Spirit of Accountability and that he uses the name of God to manipulate people and misappropriate funds (LIVES IN MILLION+ DOLLAR HOME, DRIVES LUXURY AUTOMOBILES. - Ironically and to my knowledge no one else in congregation has become a millionaire in the last three years and since all of the prosperity hype, including employees in front church office who are right up under this pastor’s leadership).

MY QUESTION TO YOU ALL IS WHAT ARE THE (LEGAL) RIGHTS OF THE CONGREGATION, OR ANY CONGREGATION FOR THAT MATTER - WITHOUT HAVING TO LEAVE (GOD’S) CHURCH AND THEIR FAMILIES, FRIENDS, RELATIONSHIPS FOSTERED, ORGANIZATIONS VOLUNTEERING IN??? Please advise, because I may consider taking action in the future.
