Along these lines, how should a righteous person feel at the sudden loss of life of one who was notoriously and blatantly wicked? I struggle with my emotions most times when this is news. What makes me sick in the pit of my stomach is the thought that eternity is f-o-r-e-v-e-r and f-o-r-e-v-e-r, and forever. That thought brings on unbelievable sadness and tears to my eyes for that lost soul. Is this normal? This prompts me to pray for all men—especially my family and friends, the Church, and everyone with whom all of the above have to do. Do any of you experience the emotion described above? Beryle, totally ok to ramble, I think it’s good, and that rambling amongst true believers is the best place to do it. I think even in the midst of a major apologetics ministry there is still room for comforting, and encouraging the saints of God. I encourage you, and pray that God comforts you while feeling what you are feeling. I know the thing that gets me, especially at most funerals, is the lack of a preacher stepping up to the mic and looking out at the people who are sitting there, and telling them, that all need to come to repentance instead of focusing on all the good times everyone had while this person was alive. I watched the James Brown funeral, and that is all that Jessie, and Al did. no mention of the redeeming quality of our Lord and Savior, just that James did it his way. I guess I’m rambling now.

I often find myself vent and becoming angry at many of these men…even ones that aren’t of mention here that I KNOW are false.
My fiancee keeps me grounded, always informing me of my need to pray for these lost and deceived men and those that follow them.
I must curb it because there is a fine line in which I actually could cross and despise the individual, and not the act of the individual.
At times I actually felt myself feeling sorry for individuals because they REALLY can’t see. And in times of continual sparring, there comes a point in which the dust has to be shaken off of one’s feet because the individual is obviously unregenerate.
Or as Paul did recommend with regard to the man sleeping with his mother in law. Turn him over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that he might repent.
Sometimes we just have to release an individual. Not everyone will come. The “narrow” road is becoming more and more apparent to me. This play church stuff is reason for God to destroy it.

If you’re standing up before a congregation of God’s people, your personal lifestyle should exemplify that you’re a Christian. Is this person who’s standing before God and the congregation Christ-like? That’s a question every true saint should ask.
On that note, I need someone in your reading audience to answer this question: Is Hezekiah Walker a homosexual? That’s a common characteristic of many gospel musicians including ******* ******** (MN: Sorry, I had to practice a little censorship here. Read the comment up top. ). Therefore, we should not receive them.
As Christians, our love for them should be in the form of admonishment and chastisement. Gay singers and musicians should not be supported in any manner. Pastors who place popularity and drawing a large crowd BEFORE godliness fail to prohibit homosexual participation in ministry. In some cases, that’s because they’re struggling with the same issue. Saints should firmly rebuke the Pastors who allow homosexuals to partake in their ministry. Yet they fail to because of fear and/or loyalty to the Pastor.
Perhaps that’s the reason why they don’t speak up regarding the preachers and ministries their Pastors associate with.
I’m not a daily or weekly reader. Yet 6 to 8 months ago, I didn’t see anything posted that was not true. I’ll stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ and confess things about ******** ********.

Beryle, I think all of your emotions about how you feel when someone wicked dies are normal. I don’t think there’s one set way to feel. Many folks were partying in the streets and rejoicing when SH was executed. I felt sad, not for him, but for the remaining families of the people he killed. This opens up all of the old wounds for them. And it reminds them of how horribly their loved ones may have died at his hands. I don’t shed a tear for SH. Sin, fully matured, bringeth forth death. The LORD said “Vengeance is MINE, I will repay…”

When I used to attend New Birth Missionary Baptist, under bishop Eddie Long (aka Fast Eddie) they had an estate planning seminar. Can’t say I wasted my time on it, but I can imagine what happened there.
The estate steal is a very old trick. You get an old person who wants to go to heaven and tell them to “leave all your earthly possession to the work of the Lord” and some take the bait. How do you think the Catholic church had all that money to pay legal fees and court settlements? Quiet it’s kept, but they’ve been running that game for literally centuries.
Jesus asked people to forsake their earthly possessions and follow him. As in walk with him and his ministry. These pimps ask you for all your possessions and have no use for you after that. You can’t even get them to bury you for free.

I have to give T Dexter credit because after scouring his web site I could not find any mention of grave robbing like Fast Eddie and Paul Crouch. I guess there is hope for Old Jakes. Maybe his conscience has not been totally seared yet and still has a little guilt when it comes to stealing the jewelry from corpse in the casket. I thank you for the questions you have raised concerning teaching “faith and prosperity”. I’d love to chime in with a few remarks:
1. First, there is nothing in the Words of the Lord Jesus that suggest that “God wants everyone rich.”
2. Second, the Lord Himself warned His followers of “Greed”, which is clearly promoted by the word of faith movement, thus, contradicting the Lord.
3. When one puts one’s focus on prosperity, it creates a grave danger: We become more interested in what is on the Master’s Table rather than the Master Himself.
4. If the pimps were truly living by “Faith”, they would “Trust” God to provide for the “needs” of their families as well as the “needs” of the ministry. I refer you to Philippians 4:19.
5. Lastly, has it ever occurred to you, sir that the only people who are “prospering” are the pimps and not the people? Please pay attention to that statement as it is packed with profound truth.
I hope you will at least give these comments some serious prayerful consideration. Have YOU become rich since you have been following these false teachers?

BT I feel you indeed. But I know for a fact that some of the preachers that you talk about on here on here are not as you say they are. I believe that. I mean you can’t say that just because a pastor drives a nice car or lives in a nice house and some of his members don’t that he is a pimp. I have seen people in the church drive better cars then their pastors does that mean that they are pimps too. You can’t put a price tag on blessings. Well atleast we can’t. And please keep the argument consistent. Does the member who drives a nice car get the money from the congregation? No. Therefore he or she is not profitting at the expense of the congregation. That is the issue in the pimp thing.
And yes, there is something wrong with a pastor PUSHING the congregation to give ten percent of their income to him and the organization. If they want to, fine. But it should not be as a result of Pastor Jack trying to make them feel convicted. It should be as they are led in their hearts, not as they are beat on their brow.
