I guess it had to happen. Rock star preachers are drawn to cars, mansions, and jets like a pedophile is drawn to children. It seems that yet another gospel Big Dog is trying to get a jet.
One of my set of eyes out there sent in a link for me to check out. Click here and take a look at the site for yourself. That’s right , Benny “There’s-nine-of-Them” Hinn is now using every one of the pimp tricks in his bag to get his ‘hos out there to buy him a jet. And it’s a sweet jet, too.
He needs the jet because of the tremendous work he is doing to drag souls into the Kingdom. Obviously he can’t keep up the burdensome schedule he has unless he is free of the inconveniences brought on by flying scheduled airlines.
I guess if he personally has to be in all these places since God can’t do anything through a home-grown missionary (things like preach the Gospel), he figures he can avoid some wear and tear on his body by having a private jet to whisk him from here to there, free of the bondage or schedules that have the rest of us tied up in knots.

I do believe this one is bigger than the one Copeland talked himself into. I guess in the world of the Big Dogs, size does matter.
But you can’t say Benny is thinking only of himself in all of this. If you give a thousand dollars or more toward the purchase of the aircraft, Benny Hinn Ministries will give you a “…beautiful art quality model” of the Gulfstream. Any one care to hazard a guess on what an “art quality model” is?
If you give less than a thousand, well…they’ll put your name in a conspicuous place within the cabin of the aircraft. According to the brochure, it will be prominently placed in the area where Benny studies. That’s not all that comforting a thought though. You see, one of things you quickly figure out as a parent of four children, is that you end up doing a lot of studying in the toilet , nobody bothers you in the toilet.
Ah yes, I can see it now, the bathroom’s door panel is lined with the names of the men and women duped into giving money to preen this pimp’s ego.
But wait! There’s more. Not only do you get your name plastered on the inside of the toilet door, you get the following:
1. Your name travels with Benny as he dupes more people
2. He’ll intercede for you in the world’s highest prayer tower (the Gulfstream flies at an altitude of 40 thousand feet)
3. Benny will also ask God to pour out an unusual and unprecedented anointing for you life.
A couple of fairly interesting facts to consider.
1. According to the Trinity Foundation, the cost of operating the Gulfstream for one trip is more than the cost of buying first class tickets for the entire staff traveling to swindle more people out of their money. This cost doesn’t even address the issues of required inspections, maintenance, insurance, recurrent training, oh, and the crew to operate the aircraft.
2. Aircraft very much like this one can be chartered, just like a bus. They run on your schedule, avoid the airlines and their relative inconveniences, and they don’t cost you, the user a cent to operate. You don’t pay for the crew, the maintenance, or the inspections. And you still get to where you are going at 0.8 Mach.
Then again, given the deceptions and errors Benny preaches, I can’t see that there is a particularly good reason to get him from one place to another with any particular speed. In fact, it would probably be best if he did get stuck at Denver Internationa for a week.
It’s amazing to watch these pimps come up with new and improved ways to separate you from your money. It’s even more amazing to watch you willingly hand it over to them.
Think about it: Jesus, the Creator of the Universe, walked where ever He had to go. He walked all over Israel. In fact, He even walked part way across the sea of Galilee.
Paul probably stepped it up a little. I figure he sometimes rode horses (like the one he fell from when he was looking for some Christians to persecute). Please note that Paul and the other Apostles have been described as the men who turned the world upside down.
For them, it wasn’t about corporate efficiencies or physical comforts. It was about giving yourself to the ministry, not getting stuff out of the ministry.
Most of these pimps and pimp-wannabes have a huge house (built on from the money snookered from the congregation). More and more they are getting jets (fueled by the ignorance and naïveté of the congregations). More and more of them brag about being close friends of the leaders of the world. More and more of them are moving further and further away from the truth of the Gospel. And more and more of these pimps are dragging their dupes into hell with them.
Good stuff. Just one complaint. (And I know you will take it well, considering your desire to maintain biblical accuracy.) Scripture (i.e. Acts 9) doesn’t say that Saul/Paul was on a horse when Jesus appeared to him–just that he was knocked to the ground.

i don’t like a lot of the ministries listed here but what i want to know is if somebody starts digging the dirt on you what would they find…muck-raking would be the first sin. saying that someone is wrong is one thing, but all of that talk you are doing will send you straight to the bottom of hell, right along with the ones you are condemning. so while all of you are busy sweeping around their back doors, make sure you don’t end up burning in the lake next to that preacher you hate so much.

That’s a good point Melvin. I, initially, had a problem with people digging up the dirt of the pulpit pimps. It wasn’t my denial of the dirt. I just did not want their dirt to be out there. However I see the error in that. If these preachers are doing dirt then they need to be exposed.

He and others do not have to dig up dirt on these ministries it is in plain site. They do not try to hide it. God says, in His word to prove all things. Show it up. These ministries are preaching and teaching false doctrine. They are merchandinsing the saints. And they know this! They know exactly what they are doing. It is no secret concerning their evil ways. They flunt it! Many watchmen have gone to some of these ministries to tell them or warn them of their evil ways but they do not take heed and continue in their way . This site is to warn and expose and he is doing a great job at it! Jude explains alot of it. Jude 4 “For there are certain men crept in unwares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.” vs. 11 “Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.” vs.18 “How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who walk after their own ungodly lusts.” These are not godly men and women, who love God and follow in His ways. They are vipers and they need to repent. I pray for them all the time, that they will turn back to God. Some of them truly did follow God. We need to study our BIBLE… The WORD OF GOD. Mrs Mav, I actually went to one of his circuses. Quite a production, and a lesson in mesmerism and the power of suggestion within a group dynamic.
It’s a carefully orchestrated con. No one………..and I mean NO ONE who was REALLY sick or impaired got near that stage. I saw literally DOZENS of the maimed, blind, and obviously seriously ill herded a safe distance from the cameras while folks with such devastating health issues as “a bad back” were allowed access to the “Mand of Gawd”.
The others with Cancer and such were those whose condition was not outwardly apparent. Therefore, the “healing” wouldn’t actually have to SHOW any change. Just pat ‘em on the head, tell them they’re healed, take their cash, and send them home to die.
It sickens me. I went at the urging of my wife years ago. Neither of us were “Hinnites”, and I frankly went kicking and screaming. But we have a seriously disabled daughter……….and a mother will grasp at ANYTHING for her baby, as would I.
Hinn preys upon that desperation………upon that anguish and pain. And he uses that to line his pockets. God have mercy upon him………
hmmm, somehow that reminds me of a program i saw on HBO about 6 or 7 years ago about Hinn and some other international evangelists where the sick and the lame were shut off from getting on stage. And in one instance, in Africa, they (the ministers) were yelling “the blood of Jesus, the blood of Jesus”!!!, to force this man walk. But he was never able to walk. As a result, they kept yelling and screaming at him that he needed more faith.
*note: i thought the blood of Jesus was for redemption purposes - To redeem man from sin. Never saw in the bible where chanting “the blood of Jesus!!”, healed anyone.
Anyway, the sad thing about all of this is that, its remarkable how these people have absolutely no conscience.

Believe me, there’s gonna be a special place in hell for those folks that prey upon the misfortune of others(Mark 9:42, Luke 17:2). I do believe that GOD is always in the business of healing, but not at the expense of breaking the pockets of his true followers! This is about the most BRUTAL display of greed one can fathom.. Everytime I think of these villainous parasites and their obvious lack of compassion for God’s people, or any inkling of the Fear of God, it reminds me of the true man of God named Mordecai.. A man who “was next unto King Ahasuerus, and GREAT among the Jews (God’s people at the time), and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, SEEKING the WEALTH of HIS people, and speaking PEACE to his seed. In other words, in my understanding of this passage, Mordecai looked after the well being of God’s people, be it financial, physical, spiritual etc.. I have been a private contractor for many years and I was taught a valuable lesson long ago about caring for fellow believers when it comes to finances. When I work for a believer, I exercise much caution with regards to billing for my services as to not bring judgment on myself for a false balance.. All in all, I just don’t really think these men are the Lord’s; think about it for a moment.. Do you EVER see chastisement or any type of repentance on these tele-preachers part for their evil deeds? Speaking from much experience in the chastisemet department, I get dealt with very quickly and harshly if my dealings with a brother or sister in Christ lack even the slightest bit of integrity. So, let’s face it, “The Lord chastens those whom He loves.” If they aren’t getting spanked on, they aren’t His… It’s a harsh way to vocalize my opinion, but that’s the truth.. Great points indeed. I know personally that God does correct and chastise his own. I am sure all of us here have had our Heavenly Father give us a good woopin if you know what I mean to set us right. These scam artist like Hinn, Dollar, Crouch, and the others get nothing but more and more earthly posessions while bilking the masses that follow them. Although we often look at the Pimps has anyone looked at the people who follow the Pimps? Are they any better? Are they not just as guilty for their desire to be as wealthy as the Pimps themselves? That being said the sad problem are the ones in the pews who are truly scripturaly ignorant, who give everly last dime of their social security check or their rent payment thinking that these so called men of God are telling the truth. Those people are the ones I feel pitty for. But the biggest embarassment is Creflo Dollar who exploits his own people for his advancement. I think I posted a few months back in another thread that it seemed to be the ‘in thing’ to get your own personal jet. The wifes ex-pastor was speaking about a prophesy where they would have a ‘fleet of planes of their very own where they could fly where they needed (wanted to go) to spread the word’. Over looking that it’s mostly a self fulfilling prophesy. Of course this same pastor said he wouldn’t go/stay or even comeback to where he wasn’t ‘honored’ in one sermon. In another sermon, he explained what honoring the pastor was all about…MONEY. Of course, he’d add the rider that there were other things to the definition of honor too (never said what they were) but focused entirely on sowing seed, honoring their man of god, stocking the storehouse…what ever to keep the funds rolling in.
I checked this website out. I will say it is interesting, and appreciate what they do. I do have some questions about some things but I still can appreciate what they do. But I support this Ministry. Melvin please give the information so that I can financially support you.
I definitely agree with most, if not all, of what has been said. And I am confident that the Lord will stand up on the behalf of those true Christians who have given themselves wholly to him, and not these phonies (unsure if correct spelling) who preach a false message. At this point, I would like to add to the discussion going on here. It seems that Prophecy is being fulfilled right in front of our eyes. We are literally seeing the words of Jesus in scripture come to life in the actions of “preachers” (positive speakers) and “teachers” (motivators) and the like. They are going out and doing exactly what scripture said they would do: speak a false message about a God that doesn’t exist; or, I could say positively, preach a message about the Jewish Genie (cultural confusion I think) that doesn’t just grant you three wishes but “more than you have room to receive” (Mal. 3:10, their interpretation), Or, at least, as much as you can confess or praise to get. When we see people doing this stuff, it is a clear sign that God is about to do something drastic because what they are doing takes his intervention to stop. But we know that the intervention of God is something that is coming in the form of the tribulation. And this is what they are ushering in right in front of our eyes. The Anti-Christ needs mega-churches. Why? Simply, because he is trying to make a unified religious expression. Mega-churches, and their compromised pastors, are setting the stage for a unified religious tradition. Hence, all of the posts that are on this site regarding the secularization of the church. This is the key problem and the essential message of us who know the truth to those who do not, Jesus is coming and so is the Anti-Christ, whose side are you on? From all that we see from these preachers, and what they are trying to do with their churches, we see the formation of religion that is based on loving the self. This is exactly why mega-churches become mega. The model of the mega-church is preparing people for the global church. So when it pops up, people won’t be bothered by it. More to say later on.
When Jesus said “greater works” he was not talking of the miracles. If that was true, the apostles would have done the same “creation” miracle that jesus did when he fed the five thousand. The greater works are proclaiming the gospel and witnessing people being saved.

I want you to pay special attention to the bank and holding corporation part. When I was a member, they were shamelessly soliciting the members to invest in a startup bank. That failed and then they changed it to a holding company. They decided to take form a holding company because it would be easier to buy banks than to start a brand new one. This church already owns property all of the city of Chicago and surrounding areas. They also own a mall. I see this as the new trend coming. Everybody is going to start buying banks & malls. They want their members to be debt free so that they can ask for more money for business ventures such as this.
Bill Winston also owns his own plane and is a pilot as well. He flies every Sunday to his other church in Alabama. Tuskegee Christian Center. (sigh)

I stumbled on your site and was reading through some things written on here. I don’t have any personal knowledge of the ministries you call “pulpit pimps” but in regards to the ‘little gods’ idea I was curious if you had input to the scripture I read recently referensing it?:

The use of the term “god” in today’s modern English is not the same as the use of the term during the time those words were recorded. The statement Jesus made was from Psalm 82:6. When that term “god” was used it was simply the equivalent to the term “mighty ones”. It had been used to describe judges, rulers and others with earthly authority and respect during that time. It was even used to describe people of stature who were not Jewish and never accepted the existence of God at all. Keep in mind that even false deities are given the term “gods”. The translation of a term has caused many people to error in this regard.
We are not “gods” and there is only one true God. In today’s terms, we only use the term “god” when speaking of deity, which we are not. And again there is only one True God. We are sinners saved by grace, who remain humble to the Lord our God.
The use of the term has become misconstrued by men, who wish to puff themselves up in a haughty manner. This is not how Jesus instructed us to carry ourselves. Jesus said if we want to call ourselves something, it would be better to call ourselves the “servant”. See Matthew 23:11.
Pimps don’t make money by convincing people they would do well to be the servant. People who desire for God to endorse them getting earthly riches don’t want to hear that. So the pimps play on the term “god”, to make themselves and those who will give them money feel good. The better the people’s flesh feels, the more money they give up. It’s verbal titillation.

Just to let all know “Youtube” is having to pull videos of Benny Hinn due to Hinn claiming copyright infringements. This is very interesting in light of what they revealed about the person and his teachings. I wonder how long it will be before his cronies of the word faith movement follow suit.
I don’t understand what all the big fuss is about “exposing” the sons and daughters of satan (cause satan is the greatest liar, no?). Doesn’t it say in the Bible (essentially) that what’s done in darkness shall be brought into the light? If my basic interpretation is right, that pretty much means no one will get away with anything. Right?
The way this works in my mind is, we have true believers [cat 1]; those in denial (don’t want to have anything at all to do with GOD [although their concept of god is often times based on ignorance] ); those who want to believe or do believe but still need to solidify (for lack of a better term) their faith in Him [cat 2]. So these pulpit pimps peddle god to cat 2 people because they’re vulnerable, they could go either way. It seems the prevailing themes among those “in need” are health and wealth. And if you’re already turning to GOD for help in these areas (and admit it, most people only think of GOD when they need something… at least it’s a start), then you believe or at least want to believe. And this is the perfect opportunity for satan: “the mark” is stuck at the fork in the road and doesn’t know which way to turn (wide or narrow road) because they have no faith or are of little faith. Satan, armed with the fact that he can get in using either health and/or wealth, approaches and starts saying “Yes, god wants you to be healthy. God wants you to be wealthy,” and starts excerpting passages like John 10:10:
“…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” And of course “more abundantly” refers to quantity and not quality (yes, that’s sarcasm).
And to “the mark” that makes perfect sense. Afterall, if I need it, why wouldn’t GOD want me to have it? He loves me, afterall. “Right,” satan says. “You just need to express that faith.
If you don’t let god know that you truley believe, then you won’t receive.” He may start talking about how Christ is the ultimate example of faith. How Jesus sacrificed his own life so that we may have eternal life. …And yes, satan can quote scripture, stating and completely disregarding/ overlooking the truth of what he’s saying at the same time, because it’s not TRUTH to him, they’re just words.
So he gets it into “the mark” that this big show of faith (because faith without works is
dead, right? James 2:17) has to involve the biggest sacrifice that he can make. By this point satan already has “the mark” thinking that god is not going to do anything for him, unless he gets something in return (which is the biggest misconception of all… that we can offer THE CREATOR anything of value –I could explain what I mean by this, but this thing would just go on and on…).
Pretty soon the word “tithing” and the phrase “sowing a seed” pop up. Now, what’s going to happen to people standing at the fork in the road? Apparently, some of us will walk with satan because we’re desperate, confused, misguided (thanks, satan!) and like the idea that doing something seemingly so simple (giving a few bucks here and there) is the ultimate show of faith –We’ve found the ulitamte relationship with GOD! And hey, if we keep planting those seeds…or using that prayer cloth…or sprinkling that miracle water…
So my point with all of that is, essentially these pulpit pimps are robbing vulnerable souls and robbing GOD. Isn’t it the duty of a true believer to “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves(Matthew 7:15)?” False
prophet=ravening wolf=puplit pimp=_____(add your own). If you would sit idly by and just let a person be robbed, raped, killed, abused… take self-inventory. Don’t be afraid to point out satan and his representatives.
And yes, we should have compassion on these sons and daughters of satan, cause GOD made them too, right? But to do what they do and say what they say, they’d have to be either crazy (and I do mean the psychological term for insane) or liars, right? So, when they choose to stop lying, perhaps people will stop calling them liars.
And if you EVER hear a preacher/minister/whatever tell you to tell them what you need from GOD so they can pray FOR you (such as, actually on your behalf), remember John 14:6:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”
Unless that preacher/minister/whatever’s name is Christ Jesus, their words are no better than yours to the ears of GOD (got it, Kerney Thomas?). …Sorry, I just recently discovered this man and he infuriates me, to say the least.
