(MN: This is a straight up republishing of a past article. I’m putting it out here because of the many new visitors coming to the site. And I want to make sure no one thinks I came up with the name for the site all by myself. )
In case you’re wondering, this site came about in a two step process. I’ve discussed John Coleman and the work he is doing on the West Coast. He has a site I like a lot and was doing a weekly radio show on KBRT in Los Angeles. They later kicked him off the air because he kept naming names. Imagine that, getting upset because he actually tried to warn people about specific pimps.
We have maintained a long-distance friendship. When we hooked up in Virginia for breakfast about a year ago, we talked and I felt encouraged to do something on the East coast. I knew I didn’t have the chutzpah or the discipline to do a radio show. Besides, who would want to put on a program that said not-nice things about some of the major money sources like Jenkins, Peebles, and others?
But there is another fellow who had an influence on me. I’ve never communicated with him, although I have tried in order to get permission to publish a couple of portions of his book on this site. His name is H. E. Brown. And the book he wrote (and self published, I do believe) is “Pimps in the Pulpit.”
While not everything he says about the pimps is true about all of them, and while certailny not all pastors (probably not even most) are pimps, you will see a great deal of accuracy in what he says as he applies it to the average huckster-pastor.

While I don’t necessarily agree with some of what he says about the purposes of the church organization and its relationship with the community, he does appear to be right on the money when describing the church pimp, whether that fellow or felless is black, white, or brown.
But let’s review. Why am I putting this information out here? For three reasons.
1. I want to give the pimps and the pimpettes an opportunity to turn from what they are doing and turn to the truth. In so doing, they save themselves an awful lot of trouble when they face Jesus Christ at Judgment. (2 Corinthians 5:10 )
2. I want to warn those of you who figure it’s God’s job to correct the pimps that you will have to aswer for pouring good money after bad and being instrumental in bringing in and keeping people around the pimps.
3. I want to makes sure that no one who reads the information on this site will be able to offer Jesus Christ any kind of weak-kneed excuse about why they didn’t do anything to stop the slaughter (Deacon Lee, Deacon Hinds, and Deacon Hughes at First Baptist Church of Glenarden, pay attention).
Remember what the bible says:
Romans 14:10 - We will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
2 Cor 5:10 - We must all appear beore the judgment seat of Christ, so that we may each be recompensed for his deeds.
2 Timothy 2:25 - Bring them back to the truth.
MELVIN: Concerning John Coleman’s situation—is any-thing being done by those on the West Coast who support his views? Has he considered just instituting a web site like this one? Would he consider asking for the necessary help (this IS biblical; Paul did it)?
(MN: John has a site and does a webcast several times a week. He does accept contributions from folks. Go onto the site and you can see how to contribute to his efforts. Click here to get there. )
The webcast are good from his website as well….as he knows much of the preachers nationwide especially those here locally.
MELVIN & GRIDIRON: Just watched Cashflow and concluded that this man is Bozo, the Clown! How dare he preach AGAINST the very same thing he is taking liberty with—the Word of God that Romans 15:4 tells us “was written for our instruction.” If what he is ranting has any hint of truth to it, this means that when Jesus was in the garden just before His crucifixion and He AGAIN prayed, saying the same words:”Abba! Father! All things are possible for Thee; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what Thou wilt.” This appears to have transpired at least three times from my understanding. But if we use Cashflow’s reasonings, then and there, Jesus became an offense to His Father thereby negating the whole plan of salvation upon which the Three in One had agreed upon before the foundations of the earth were laid! Am I permitted to call this man a fool? I don’t want to disobey God’s Word, but I’m beside myself over this foolishness! In other words, Jesus should NOT have asked the Father to remove the cup the 2 or 3 times that He did. Who is Cashflow to rip apart (not disect) the imperishable Word with his filthy, stinking, rotten exegesis? Did you see the blind black, white, and yellow sheep listening to this fecal rant? I am livid! When I stop typing and add this comment, I might have to go into my bathroom and curse like Peter was known to do!!!!!!!
(MN: I know. But you have to understand that these wolves have no fear of God. They are lazy beast who devour the sheep. You can’t expect any better of them. Get out there and let other people know about these bozos and bozettes. Present the facts that they can’t deny without showing a willingness to follow after their lies.
But whatever you do, don’t let them wear you down. You have the truth.
Of course if you keep feeling outraged, I may have to ration your access to this site. I wouldn’t want you to go a’cussin’ or anything. )
The guy is just plain nutso.
I have heard people reason with me as well and feed into this by siding with him on the account of some sort of “secret wisdom” from the scriptures (sounded like Gnosticism to me)…..as he introduced the fact that he is soon to have a talk show called “Creflo”.
No need to say Jesus, Jesus, Jesus all day, and tongues, ect……just dialogue of this unkown wisdom to snatch people from the flames of hell….
Wow. Really Creflo?
i read the entry, and i was tortured by it.
i absolutely abhor the things that are going on in the name of “jesus”. actually, it’s extremely hard for me to take. i’m at a loss of understanding here. i just can’t compute this sick and twisted relationship between the fleece flocking preachers and their oh-so-willing-to be misled followers anymore than i can the relationship btween a sadist and a masochist. one wants to desperately injure the other and the other absolutely loves and needs to be injured! begs for it!
everytime i read of these flagrant abuses and wrestings of Scripture, a rage ignites in me to which i’m so thankful i can turn to God to Help me, Help me, Help me! lest hatred would settle in my heart and cause me to be in sin myself.
oh, that my eyes would remain open, that i would walk in integrity, watching against any duplicitous motives that may be lurking, desiring a pure heart, humility in actions, a clean mind, and unfeigned love for the truth and the ppl of God- this is my prayer.
