Joel “Willow Boy” Osteen has a new game out. Take a look at the graphic to see what it looks like. All I can say is I didn’t make this up.
I swear I didn’t monkey with any graphics or do any kind of cutting and pasting. This is the game developed by the master of motivational speaking.
Here’s a brief description of the game by a company marketing the item.
Your Best Life Now
The Game is an entertaining and educational way to take inventory of yourself and accountability of your actions. Climb the mountain as you· Enlarge Your Vision
· Develop a Healthy Self Image
· Discover the Power of your Thoughts and Words
· Let Go of the Past
· Find Strength Through Adversity
· Live To Give
· Choose to Be Happy
I would suggest that people get the following activity rather than the one by Willow Boy. It’s not sold in any stores, but you can get it anywhere.

It’s not going to improve your self-image, it won’t help you discover the power of your words and thoughts, and it won’t help you to choose to be happy.
However, if you follow this activity, you will be conformed to the image of Christ, die to yourself daily, know the Joy of the Lord, and learn to walk in the power of the risen Christ.
I think that is the better deal. But if you want to buy a copy of the game, go here.
And a tip of the hat to Binks for pointing me to this worthl - er - priceless marketing gem.
Your best life now in fact is a game that these merchandisers of the gospel are playing. We’ve got Noel Jones’ tarot cards, Paula White on the lingerie models talk show being introduced as a “life coach” –not as a “pastor” she’s shedding that coat for a more profitable one–what in the world is that supposed to be?? They are ashamed of the Gospel, the true power of God unto salvation. I thought Jesus was the way?? They have given him up to Madison Avenue and Wall street. I know they will stand before God with their games and cards and their secular humanistic marketing –and their $500.oo prayer kits.
Okay, I missed something tarot card? I’m lost, what kind of mess are we talking about now?
The cards I spoke of earlier - click here.
Will someone please tell me at what point did the Bible become “not enough”? Second, is it
r-e-a-l-l-y possible that anyone who espouses to be a blood-bought, Holy Ghost filled, Bible reading follower of Christ, NOT fear and reverence God the Father? Since when did we need a 52-card deck to His glory?
Where is the fear of God, Saints? Please help me understand this. Daily, there are things that “cross my mind,” but the fear of God not only makes me hasten their exit, but keep the fruitless journey to myself, and ask God for forgiveness. The Lord Jesus Christ is a keeper! I’m a living witness! He is our God and we are His people!
I may need some help here to help me see, but I don’t see anything wrong with the cards. I have actually seen them, but what’s wrong with them? They don’t have scriptures on them or do they? If it helps someone at the end of the day, then what wrong with them? I would hate to think that we’re finding fault for the sake of finding fault.
Yeah - at first glance - looking at the excerpt on the web site they don’t seem harmful - UNLESS someone would go to them instead of the Bible for guidance.
WHAT!!!! Okay now this is just the last straw. What is up with these gimmicks? I am 100% any gimmick and trick used to “win” someone to Christ. God does that through us with His Word. Jesus Christ does that through us with His Sacrifice.
Please review that image of Christ off this website!!!!!
(MN: Did you mean “remove”? )
It is most unfortunate when spirituality is linked to a game. I think that you (Mr. Jones) are doing an important work in warning others about the false teachings, false prophecies and other matters that are going on in the Body of Christ.
And, sir, have you allowed the adversary to influence you in the manner in which you mock and humiliate these false ministers? If you simply put the Word of God next to their words, you will be doing everyone a great service. That way, the Holy Spirit can teach His people through His Word–frankly, neither the false teachers’ words, or yours are very important to the people of God. What they need to see is God’s Word.
But creating mean pictures, name calling and other childish conduct is not becoming to a minister of Christ (”when I became a man, I put away childish things”). And it lacks the sobriety and gravity with which we are to conduct ourselves (”be sober, be vigilant). Also, you are unwittingly strengthening the wicked: by causing the false ministers to think they are being persecuted for Christ, and by causing new or young Christians to reject your words because of the manner in which you speak them–where you could help them, you are so happy with yourself and telling the false ministers off that you yourself begin to err to the detriment of those you seek to help.
Not one of us is exempt from God’s idea of righteousness, and when we are serving God, the temptation is greatest to think we can go around unchecked.
Being angry is no sin, but the Ronald McDonald pictures/caricatures is a sin. (MN: Other than possible copyright issues, what makes it a sin? ) You are proud of the evil you see in them and you delight in bringing it out into the open. But God has no delight in the death of the wicked, indeed no delight in seeing His enemies stumble.
Far better that you just show people from the Word that these false teachers are wrong. Stick with the Word…
because of every idle word men speak, they shall give an account in the day of judgment…
and by your words you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned.
Jessie Mae,
Here is a word for your false preachers (from scripture, of course). They need to turn away from the heresies and lies that they bring forth. They will be held accountable for all of the evil deeds that they have perfomed.
Ezekiel 33:7-11
7
You, son of man, I have appointed watchman for the house of Israel; when you hear me say anything, you shall warn them for me.
8
If I tell the wicked man that he shall surely die, and you do not speak out to dissuade the wicked man from his way, he (the wicked man) shall die for his guilt, but I will hold you responsible for his death.
9
But if you warn the wicked man, trying to turn him from his way, and he refuses to turn from his way, he shall die for his guilt, but you shall save yourself.
10
As for you, son of man, speak to the house of Israel: You people say, “Our crimes and our sins weigh us down; we are rotting away because of them. How can we survive?”
11
Answer them: As I live, says the Lord GOD, I swear I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked man, but rather in the wicked man’s conversion, that he may live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! Why should you die, O house of Israel?
Wait….there’s more
Let’s read more verses. Ezekiel 33:12-20
12
As for you, son of man, tell your countrymen: The virtue which a man has practiced will not save him on the day that he sins; neither will the wickedness that a man has done bring about his downfall on the day that he turns from his wickedness (nor can the virtuous man, when he sins, remain alive).
13
Though I say to the virtuous man that he shall surely live, if he then presumes on his virtue and does wrong, none of his virtuous deeds shall be remembered; because of the wrong he has done, he shall die.
14
And though I say to the wicked man that he shall surely die, if he turns away from his sin and does what is right and just,
15
giving back pledges, restoring stolen goods, living by the statutes that bring life, and doing no wrong, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
16
None of the sins he committed shall be held against him; he has done what is right and just, he shall surely live.
17
Yet your countrymen say, “The way of the LORD is not fair!”; but it is their way that is not fair.
18
When a virtuous man turns away from what is right and does wrong, he shall die for it.
19
But when a wicked man turns away from wickedness and does what is right and just, because of this he shall live.
20
And still you say, “The way of the LORD is not fair!”? I will judge every one of you according to his ways, O house of Israel.
Jessie……….we look forward with eager anticipation to seeing you do it right. What is your website address again?? HMMMmmmmmmmmm……That’s what I thought……….
Perhaps you will explain the action and words of Elijah before the false prophets of Baal?? Perhaps you could rebuke the Lord for allowing such sinful behavior by Elijah.
26And they took the bull that was given them, and they prepared it and called upon the name of Baal from morning until noon, saying, “O Baal, answer us!” But there was no voice, and no one answered. And they limped around the altar that they had made.27AND AT NOON ELIJAH MOCKED THEM (rotten sinner!!), saying, “Cry aloud, for he is a god. Either he is musing, or he is relieving himself (a reference to a potty break…….now if THAT ain’t a sin, I don’t know what is!!!), or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened.”
The mocking that is done here is for the very same purpose Elijah used it (without rebuke from either God or a drive-by pundits, BTW).
Its purpose is to strip the veneer of spirituality and pseudo-godliness from these wolves. To open the eyes of the blinded………..to get the fleeced to see the pimps without the false shield of “anointing”.
To, as Elijah did, get them to answer the question for themselves…….. “How long will you halt between two opinions?!?!”
These wolves are no better than the false prophets of Elijah’s day………….they are following a “god” of their own construction just as surely as if they had carved him with their own hands.
A “god” obsessed with material wealth.
a “god” who had to complete redemption in hell.
A “god” who was the first “born again” man.
A “god” who bows and scrapes before our whims.
A “god” who must obey our words of faith.
A “god” with 9 members of the Godhead.
A “god” who desires that we accumulate to ourselves the things of this earth while true saints are being slaughtered.
There is no resemblance to the God of the Bible. They are not ministers of the Word, but their “god” is their belly, as is the “god” of their followers. And without a strong voice to shake them from their spiritual slumber, they will die with this impotent “god” rather than Christ.
“Blind guides”…….”vipers”…….”children of hell”……..”whitewashed tombs”………”hypocrites”……..harsh words indeed. Care to recall Who uttered them, and to whom they were addressed???
Sigh……….will we ever see the end of people more concerned about coddling the wolves than rescuing the sheep??
AMEN! myriads of times! Like Father, like son; a glorious example of a house NOT divided–the Word of God defending itself. The God of the Old Testament is also the God of the New. The Word is the same yesterday, today, and forever!
Jessie Mae,
GaryV is right. Instead of pontificating on how you think it should be done, get up off your butt and some bucks and go do it. Until then, you don’t have much to say about my approach.
As the wise man once said: Better to do something and get it mostly right, than to do nothing and be a pain in the butt to those are getting it mostly right.
I await (in vain, I fear) your site.
Bro Melvin I believe that you’re on here to tell people the truth and not a lie so you don’t need to say “I swear” I’ve been told and I read a scripture in the bible about not swearing in any name or on anything. If you people don’t want to believe you and they think you’re here to be a “Hater” then that’s there problem, if they don’t have the spirtual decernment to see that you’re speaking the truth then, oh well, people will believe what they want you to believe the evidence is here it’s up to them to examine it and see the truth in it.
Keep up the Good work I’m spreading the word to my College and High school friends about this site i think more young people need to be here.
(MN: Just a figure of speech. But I will take your admonition into account. )
Question: How much do you know about Benny Hinn? My research says he’s HOT MESS..what do you know? I have some friends who are really into him and I dont think thats good at all! Thanks a lot too, you’re really looking out! God Bless
Musicnote………….funny you should ask about Benny “There’s 9 of ‘em” Hinn. Melvin just mentioned that he would be linking to some video that may interest your friends. Please accept these in the meantime with my compliments.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4t9APdSG30
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7807584680006648742&q=benny+hinn
Please do two things before you share these……….
1) Watch them yourself so you can point out the damning revelations as they come
2) Take note that the odd implement Benny is passing to Steve Brock (his crusade singer) is an opium pipe. If there are any doubts, simply listen to the man who TRIES to speak after taking his turn. BTW……….this same man died of a heroin overdose that very night after toking up with Benny and friends.
I encourage anyone here to watch these exposes as well. A little over 40 minutes each, but well worth the investment of time.
Please allow me to correct a statement. I want to be fair…………there is enough documented ungodliness that no speculation is necessary.
I do not KNOW that there was opium in that pipe. I DO know that this is the type of pipe opium is smoked from. Draw you rown conclusions…….even setting the contents of that pipe aside, the rest of the evidence presented is still damning.
brother, thank you for posting this. And i really mean that sincerely. It almost brough tears to my eyes, just looking at those poor people crushed when they where rejected. Especially the mother and little girl…. And to think that people have a nerve to defend these dogs and snakes! The bible says it perfectly when it says that they make merchandise of your souls!! I wish people would wake up.
Grace and Peace to all,
O.K., I really thought this was a joke you used with your Paintshop Program but I actually encountered this game on display at Books-A-Million Store here in Baton Rouge, La.
(MN: It’s a shame when they get so outrageous that you can’t tell a joke from the real thing. )
Wow, really?
That guy Joel Osteen is dangerous…you got to be kidding…
I stumbled upon a link sometime back that really was short but enough to move me to wonder about Joel Osteen…
http://teamtruth.com/articles/art_joelosteen.htm
I pray that he repents
Shalom,
Have you had the chance to read or see the interview of Joel Osteen with his wife and Larry King. It’s like he tried to clean up his first interview.
The thing that stands out the most is new claim that he “ALWAYS KNEW” that he wanted to be a preacher.
In the first Larry King interview he claimed, ” I NEVER” wanted to preach and that the congregation talked him into it because he “SHOULD” be next in line after his father.
Hmmmmm…….
A lie? A contradiction? or ……………..a clean up?
Sid

Israel Houghton of Israel and New Breed is a member of Joel Osteen’s church. Maybe through his tithing and offerings is where a lot of the finances for Lakewood church comes from.
