Calvin, one of my better set of eyes out there, found Pastor Donnie on YouTube. Given the text of Pastor Donnie’s message it almost seems like he’s been visiting Pulpit-Pimps.org for his material. This guy uses words like pimp and prostitute. Next thing you know he’ll be referring to the P-P church members as ‘hos. Give a listen. It’s about six minutes long.
Actually, it’s refreshing to hear a pastor (an apparently serious pastor , except for the crying) excoriating the pimps that are out there.
Perhaps the word is getting out. Maybe people are coming to P-P.org, getting fired up, and going out to slay the pulpit pimp dragons that are attacking the church. Either that or he just got sick of them on his own and decided to do something about it.
Yeah, I know. Tony Smith speaks up. But his credibility isn’t much better than mine.
So how about you? Are you going to sit around and whine “Touch not my anointed!” or are you going to warn people about the pimps and heretics who are out there sucking the saints and the deceived dry?
This is none other than Donnie SWAGGART, son of Jimmy … Interesting.
Let’s not look at the vessel, what is he saying to turn the church back to Jesus Christ and His atoning work.
(…a little mean, but I HAD to…)
I think Donnie stole material from a sermon I preached this year called “The Greater Blessing” to my Uncle’s WOF church. But it is good to see him fight along side us against metaphorical pimps, now all he needs to do is help Daddy stay away from REAL ones!!!
You owe me a DVD. I’ll even pay the postage.
Anybody else out there want to see it?
Melvin
It’s all God’s material anyway lean back
I thought we are suppose to forgive people and put it in the past. Not trying to cause a problem have you ever committed a “SIN,” so let us become one , to try and put a dent in this apostacy.
Can you clarify just what it is you are addressing??
I was commenting on the remarks made toward Jimmy Swaggart’s past , and how they are bringing forth the word to address this wrong direction that most of the church has taken. It concerns me when we can’t look at fruits (Matt. 7:15-20), I think they are producing good fruit.
If someone is preaching on the same problem doesn’t mean a preacher has stolen from you, let’s continue to preach against this dangerous doctrine, that has so boldly come in church due to our lack of studying of GOD’S WORD. Can we come together and free our brothers and sisters , and their household from these false teacher? I’m willing what about you.
Oh my, he was telling it like it is. I love his eye contact, his sincerity and his committment to the Gospel. What is his full name so I can look him up and hear some more message by him. He seems to be my kind of preacher. He speaks on sound doctrine and not afraid to talk about sin. Hey now, that is rare. All I could say was preach Pastor Donnie.
I agree! Donnie Swaggart and Jimmy Swaggart are preaching the Word. I know of no other ministers that preach the cross and the blood of Jesus Christ today.
this is jimmy swaggerts’s son so he know that this is happening. He father is still doing it.
Exactly………..Exactly!! Well, maybe the sons have more sense than the fathers. But when I saw the phoney crying, I saw his father’s spirit.
But the same thing happens here in Baton Rouge @ Bethany.com. The Father constantly preaches prosperity and giving more than tithes, YET the son will preach right after him about how such priests are corrupt!? Go figure……….
Shalom Alechem,
Avishalom
Avi!!! Let’s call it theatrical. It might not have been phonied up. Maybe he is really upset about the whole money changer thing. Afterall, his dad was a pretty good shill back in the day. And sometimes, just sometimes, the apple falls far enough away from the tree.
Amen! I agree.
I came upon this website. I think it pretty much sums up all that’s behind the PP’s and how they manipulate. It’s a little funny, a LOT depressing, and all the way true.
http://www.oaim.org/fleecing.html
(MN: This seems like something of a repeat of another post. But it is different enough that I will post it as well. Forgive my sometimes weak editorial skills if you find it completely redundant. )
Donnie and Jimmy Swaggart are in ministry together and they preach the same thing. Jimmy more so than Donnie. Go the the site and listen to the radio broadcast for a while http://www.jsm.org . Jimmy is preaching the gospel now, regardless of his past. When one repents, God does restore. He has told the story many times about his fall and how millions of Christians are and have been in the same boat. Constantly falling and repenting, falling and repenting. He said after he fell, God revealed to him the Message of the Cross, which is nothing new, it is what Paul preached concerning Christ Crucified and faith as it concerns that. He says that, that is where he found deliverance. Listen to his radio broadcast and listen to how they break down the Bible. I have never heard anything like it. You are right, the apple doesnt fall far from the tree, Donnie is preaching what Jimmy preaches. Not what he used to preach. God restores…listen to the radio broadcast.
I couldn’t agree more. I live in California but I just returned from Baton Rouge where I attended the Sunday morning and evening services at Family Life Center. Salvation is preached and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is regularly preached. Souls are being saved and people filled with the Spirit, people are being healed and lives changed!
Wow, yeah I used to attend Bethany (while in BR for 5 mos as a student) when I first came to know Jesus. Very prosperous place.
We came out of a church that all the pastor preached on was prosperity that went into his pocket. So we know what Bro. Donnie is talking about. I say that if you asked your pastor to see a list of where all the money is going to the last penney, he will probaly tell you to mind your on business. I would say if i payed offering and tithesi would say it is my bussines. and then leave that church and never go back.
Donnie & his father Jimmy Swaggert are together. If you look closley at the video, you will see Jimmy in the background with his wife. The radio ministry is SonLife Radio http://www.jsm.org. Jimmy speaks about his fall and how God has restored him through the message of the cross. This ministry has been around for a while. Listen to the radio station over the web. You’ll see that Jimmy Swaggart along with his son and others are preaching the gospel. As Christians, we have to understand that God does restore and forgive. If he can’t be forgiven after all of these years, then none of us can. What have you done or THOUGHT lately that you would be ashamed to give an account for before God? Basically, you can say that you have never screwed up, but if your honest with yourself and with God, you have. Don’t be so quick to keep a man in a hole when God has clearly pulled him out. We are all in need of a savior everyday, our faith must be in the finished work of Jesus, (ie, the cross) daily. Without faith in such, mthose thoughts and deeds that we forget about wouldnt be forgiven. If there is no need for the cross, then where is forgiveness? Our good works? Good works don’t atone, only the cross does, and that’s by faith. Swaggart has been forgiven because he never stopped believing, his ministry reflects this. Listen to his radio broadcast for a few days, Donnie is on there a lot too. Send me an e-mail and tell me what you think. I’ve been listening for years and I have never heard the truth and simplicity of the Gospel (ie. the message of the cross) preached anywhere else before. Especially as it concerns the cross of Christ being the means used by God to not only save us, but to also sanctify us, deliver us and keep us by faith in what was done there of. Anyway, like I said give the man a break…check out the radio broadcast. E-mail me and tell me what you think.
I rejoice if the Swaggarts have been touched and restored by God.
There but for the Grace of God goes any one of us. I fear nothing in life more than my own weakness, my own tendency toward sin.
Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Thank God for His Mercy!!
Who is this guy? Pastor Donnie as a search term was not sufficient for Google to find him.
Donnie Swaggart
Nah, man, the crying is definitely the response God is looking for concerning such a matter (Isa. 22:4, Joel 2:17, Luke 19:41). The scattering of God’s people is not a matter He takes lightly (Jer. 23:1-2). When we deal with such a burden in our flesh we become bitter and calloused to the message of repentance and can only see the fault of the false prohpets. But that’s what the command of God is for every minister that will see revival (Joel 2:12).
Jesus was a man aquainted with grief. When we too, can weep together to our God that He would restore His people (Dan. 10:2-3), then will we see the repentance (2 Cor. 12:22) we say we’re looking for.
To see a problem presents a responsibilty. We could either murmur and complain about the problem or weep and lament so that the Lord moves on behalf of His people.
I don’t think simply weeping will make God move. Nobody turned as a result of Jeremiah’s preaching and weeping. And God didn’t respond to Jesus based on His weeping. Rather, God responded to Jesus based on Jesus’ willingness to walk in God’s will.
“I don’t think simply weeping will make God move.”
You would deduce what the preacher did as “simply weeping?” Pastor Donnie was preaching and (as far as we know) began to weep due to the grief he felt concerning the subject matter. To say that he appears serious , except for the crying, is blind ignorant of other men of God who wept under the same circumstances (2 Cor. 2).
Concerning Jeremiah: The reason the people didn’t repent was due to God’s plan to judge them. Jeremiah wept because he was made aware of that judgment (Jer. 9). People would have repented if that’s what God had purposed when He called him. He was to prophesy, not evangelize (Jer. 1:5-10) and everything God sent him to accomplish, he did. To judge his ministry based on the people not repenting is ridiculous.
Jesus weeping over the city is the perfect reflection of how we too, should respond. Jesus is our example of character. His lifestyle (as God manifest) was continually obedient and yet because of the condition of His people, He grieved. He was a man of such sorrows.
So, while “simply weeping” won’t make God move, neither will simply praying, or simply preaching, or simply any single act. The format for change as described in Joel 2 does involve weeping ministers, and that’s (at least apparently) what the pastor exemplified.
(MN: Out of all of this, I’m not sure what your point is. Are you objecting because I used the world “simply” or are you still saying the weeping can make God move? Even before I knew who Donnie was, I thought “Gee, that sure sounds like Jimmy Swaggart. And remember, after all the crying, Swaggart went back to the red-light district at least one more time. Crying doesn’t prove [or disprove] anything. )
Ofcourse you don’t understand my point. Your ministry of exposing “pimps,” is purely cynical. It was born out of frustration and discontent. True ministry isn’t born out of anger, disapproval, bitterness, or a profound ability to ridicule. It’s given as an expressed charge from God. Only the anointing breaks the yoke (Isa. 10:27). Without love, ministry is nothing more than a sounding brass or tinkling symbol. This is a ministry that started in the flesh, and so produces flesh (John 3:6).
This work is anointed for one thing: fault finding. Yeah, mark them that cause divisions and offences, but that’s just one among many commands given to the body of Christ.
Maybe you’ll respond by saying “pulpit pimps” is not a ministry. Ministry or not, whenever we speak (or write) we must speak according to the one format already outlined:
1 Pet. 4:11.
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Gosh, it’s a shame that Jesus didn’t have your enlightened view of anger, disapproval, or bitterness being proper impetus for ministry.
You could have corrected Him about His heart attitude toward the Pharisees, Sadducees, Herod, Nicolaitans, Lukewarmers, etc.
I believe He expressly said He hated some of the above mentioned (Nicolaitans, who were “ministers” BTW), illustrated His disgust with others (unless spewing is a reflex born of love??), called the pimps of His day (Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes) whitewashed tombs, whited sepulchers, hypocrites, blind guides, children of hell, etc etc.
Let me say this brother…………I wish you’d take 1/100th of the concern you display for these pimps and direct it toward the masses who are being ripped off financially and spiritually………….and many of whom (absent the proclamation of the genuine Gospel) are deceived into thinking they are righteous before a Holy God.
This site is not a result of hatred of the pimps, but love of those deceived.
As for your suggestion that we “Speak as the oracles of God”, here are some Scriptures you may have missed. Perhaps you can correct the Lord about this abusiveness as well.
Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
Mat 23:2 - 33
Jud 1:12 - 19¶
THANK YOU ANONYMOUS for reminding those of us who fear God about His two-edged Sword of the Spirit! When the smoke clears (literally, for some), the Word of God will still be prevailing. Thanks again! Beryle
when you are grieved you will cry, not trying to move God, but when you see how far the church is off the mark, you will not only cry but INTERCEDE. Remember Jesus teaching, not many will go to heaven (narrow way and wide way, Matt.7:13,14). He was referring to the church.
Personally, I have no problem with Donnie OR Jimmy. God’s in the business of restoration. If their doctrine is on track, more power to them!!
Gary V: Re Donnie OR Jimmy—AMEN!
Having left a WoF church less than 2 months ago, I warn as many people as I can. There should be more Pastors out there like Pastor Donnie and more web-sites like this one to help get the word out on these Pimps!
Keep up the good work Melvin, your time is not in vain
Isn’t this Jimmy Swaggart’s son?
Preach Donnie…..
lol…actually, I found him kinda funny. Especially with the crying, (i know i’m bad). But I think he hit it right on the money. Preachers need to stop lying on the gospel and start preaching truth of the Bible.
I ‘m disheartened by the disparaging comments leveled at this man. He is actually preaching the Gospel and yet and still he’s called a thief, a ham, a phony, someone was even able to “discern” that he has his father’s spirit from 6 minutes of video. And since he’s J. Swaggert’s son, he must be sinful. What a disgraceful display!
(MN: I just spent the last couple of posts defending him. Even the original posting didn’t question his sincerity. I Just pointed out that it seemed somewhat theatrical. I also pointed out that perhaps the apple does fall far enough away from the tree.
I don’t believe anyone insisted that he is dishonest, scamming or anything else. In fact, most folks seem to realize that he doesn’t have to be like his dad. Don’t be too eager to be upset. It doesn’t do much good. This is a fairly tough crowd but I don’t see them jumping on people gratuitously. )
Wow. Two WHOLE scriptures. None of which say anything against WoF. That did it. I now see that WoF is wrong! The rich son of a Rich man Preaching against other rich men who tell thier congregations they too can be rich. Yes, I now see the errors of WoF. Please….This is nothing more than a man who…(well if your heads are so far up there, that you cant see it for yourselves, Im not gonna tell you)
Psst…. Hey Columbus.
Try this. It might help a bit. (Click Here).
There’s a part 2 to it coming soon.

The True Prosperity of John 10:10:
The very instant a person submits to the drawing of the Holy Spirit and fully recognizes the need in their life for a Savior and comes to Jesus Christ in faith repenting of their sins (original and actual) and confessing with their mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in their heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead. At that very moment that person is supernaturally transformed from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of the Light of God and is saved from eternal damnation. This person has just received all the prosperity that a new creature in Christ Jesus needs. For this now translated person is a stranger, pilgrim passing through this earth learning, studying, understanding the scriptures and desiring a better country that is heavenly looking for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Now being fully persuaded to be a doer of the word of God by literally doing what Jesus said do.
Prosperity teaching heard from the Gospel pimps of this day is a proven money -maker for them to heap to themselves huge sums of money. In the guise of Jesus want you to be rich and prosperous they stir up the covet-ness desire in their listeners, which is idolatry.
Studies have shown that it is the poor and needy that gives most often to these gospel pimps. Why is this? Because these people often feel that only a financial “miracle” can save them. It is not uncommon for desperate Christians to give and give, well beyond their means, in the hope that God will rescue them. Some will even lose their homes. And the elderly and the sick often give sacrificially in the hope of some kind of improvement.
The gospel pimps deceive and make merchandise of many who believe the prosperity now, seed-faith, sow and reap, give to you hurt, 100-fold return message while they themselves hoard money and luxuries, and spend millions of dollars on buildings. And our dear Christian brothers and sisters in the mission fields, down the street, and throughout the world who have truly counted the cost of discipleship to follow Jesus and carry His true message to a dying hell-bound world go lacking in basic necessities. It should not be.
Now does God want His children bless? Yes. That is why He sent Jesus. We are truly blessed when we enter the kingdom of God and this is accomplished only through the Son.
Well said Mr Taylor……….
He’s telling the absolute truth. Jesus came for the outcasts.
