The church is playing church like you stated, kids killing kids, AIDS on an all time high (especially in the black community) murders out of control, drugs in the school and the list goes on and on. The message that's preach on Sunday's are feel good messages nothing that challenges your walk with Lord. If I preach you happy I will get and keep members and collect more money. (more money, more money) You have leaders driving Bentley's, million dollars homes, different suit for everyday of the month, boats, club membership's, family members staff at the church, summer homes, kid college taken care of, all their bills paid (by the church) planes, the list goes on and on ... I thought we were call to be a light, holy and different and set apart. Instead we're busy being so culturally relevant that we've fallen right into the culture and you can't tell the difference between us and them. There are people out here dying, kids are killing kids, folks are shacking everywhere because there's not a lot salt of preservation and there are not a lot of light exposing people in a loving way. Some church folks would rather have holy hip hop and the world wants nothing to do with our religious junk, and they have every right to call it junk.
