This is actually a response from Thorn to the Bloke/Blokette who kept on saying we shouldn’t judge, at all, about anything and that we should let God sort it out on the other side. I hope Thorn’s outrage comes through clearly enough. And as you read it, try to understand why I am so hard on the pimps and pimpettes who not only take your money, but take your hope in Christ, twisting it into a tawdry and cheap little trinket to hang from the rearview mirror of their spanking new Bentely.

I wasn’t under the impression that the Christ stood next to another TEACHER (who, mind you, was teaching contrary to the messages the Christ was teaching) and give that same teacher the nod of approval and dismiss their blatant heresy with a ‘well, we disagree on a point or two, but it’s all good.’

· The prostitute: “…go and SIN NO MORE.”
· The tax collector: “…Take only what is due in taxes and no more” (counters the common practice of graft and corruption that most tax collectors were guilty of)
· The leper: “Here, let me heal you…”

I see no approval in the Christ of the SINS they were doing, only acceptance of their repentance.

As to biblical issues that you would seem to be trying to get at, Robinson standing next to Dollar (who in the Bible at the time of the Christ would fit this match up?) How about…a Pharisee? They taught too.

I do believe the Christ only stood next to those who supported him 100% or were making obvious efforts to do so. The Pharisee with their incorrect doctrines, dogma and practices were called out, insulted and dismissed.

Your analogy sucks. Sorry it does. I just don’t see Dollar changing his tune, especially under the tutelage of Robinson. It more likely Robison will get dragged down the path of blatant heresy. Especially once Dollar flashes a few diamonds in his eyes and gives him a couple of rides on his business jet.

Most pimp supporters can’t seem to get it. Most Christians have a spoon fed understanding of the Bible and couldn’t be asked to really read the thing, let alone put most of it into practice. Westerners, Americans, are too culturally conceited and spoiled for choice in what we have and carry that over to our religion. Thus, most cherry pick and have a cafeteria approach to spirituality.

Your post was equally judgmental and missed a lot, citing the common rhetoric for blanket defenses for the worst of crimes. I hope you’re not feeling hypocritical…

You say I have a log in my eye? (or the eyes of other posters do) Point it out so that we may remove it! Or did you take that passage out of context? It’s not about judging, it’s about judging someone for something you yourself are doing. Like Ted Bundy judging me for eating a hamburger because, according to him, ‘meat is murder’. Most of the judgmental behavior here is scripturally based.

I know of my sins and I don’t count amongst them the preaching of a different gospel and another Jesus through the most twisted of heresy and apostasy.

These pimps have caused me untold pain and suffering. My wife was in their mind control cult for 3 years culminating in them instructing her to leave me so as to no longer be ‘unequally yoked.’ They alienated my 3 oldest children against me. Took my wife for thousands while promising her a constantly easier life - that only got worse.

I literally whored myself to prevent my youngest son from being sucked into this mess, spent thousands more in legal battles, fretted over whether my son would get the help he needed as he is slowly being diagnosed as autistic OR would he be abused when in their care as they sought to drive his ‘demons’ out. You ever have one you know look at you cow eyed and say ‘we can pray away our sons problems’.

I find it telling that I (a male) got custody of the youngest son while the wife who had a legion of supporters backing her up, didn’t. She also had problems with that, since God was on HER side and she was supposed to get all she WANTED.

My wife, fortunately eventually saw through their sham and false promises. We’re in counseling. My older children still haven’t talked to me and while they are in counseling, still occasionally attend that church and live with their grand parents. They even turned on their mother when she stopped going. The pastor supplants honor thy father with honor thy ‘Spiritual’ father (HIM) and cared not a shred for my wife when she suffered and still was 100% devoted to him.

I’m about 17,000 dollars down the hole over that single nightmarish year. My wife is borderline atheistic over the encounter.

While my oldest daughter seems to have caught on to the fact that it’s a sham, it’s very hard for those who are immature to admit they were wrong, more so to even think to apologize to the one who’s sacrificed so much when I didn’t have to (I adopted her) for unchristian treatment all in the name of ‘Christ.’

My eldest son is worse.

My youngest daughter is clueless and was pressured by all others to turn on me also against her desires.

I’ve heard of few others who’ve had it worse than myself and my list of crimes against me is longer than can be posted here.

Constantly I think of simply loading one of my many assault rifles and proving that they were right and martyring the entire congregation.

Instead, I find myself actually praying for them. Yes, I pray for the pimp. Something I know they never did for me. Something they were told not to do for me.

So, yes, the site occasionally sounds like it’s nothing more than ad hominem attacks. There is frustration a plenty when it’s as obvious as the nose on your face what most of these pimps are doing yet, many blindly support them.

It’s been said and I’ve seen it personally, you could unleash a torrent of blasphemy against God, the Holy Spirit and the Christ himself and the fanatics wouldn’t bat an eye. However, if you were to do the same against their ‘man of God’ you could even expect to be physically assaulted.

It’s really sad too. Because the overwhelming majority of the followers are sincerely decent people with an earnest desire to serve the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul and spirit.

They’re simply used. There is nothing more pathetic than seeing a good person used and perverted to serve an evil cause.

The 1st pimp to truly recant their heresy, take up the Cross of the Lord and follow the same path of self sacrifice that He did, forsaking all worldly riches for that which does not tarnish…maybe that will be the one I’ll listen too.

In conclusion, there are a few sites out there that are toned down. This site may do better with out some of the OTT comments at times but, it serves a purpose as you noted,
Hopefully, it pisses people who support the pimps off enough that they independently pick up the bible to look for something to throw back or simply to check some of the biblical statements posted here and come to a conclusion that they aren’t getting the WHOLE GOSPEL(tm) that their pimp is saying they are getting.

I recall during my separation with the wife being able to toss out Bible passage after Bible passage at her to counter her statements and practices.

To which I got: “well, they’re doing all this in the name of Christ” (…they will come to Me saying ‘have we not healed, cast out demons (etc)…in Your name’, to which I will say ‘be gone, I know you not.’”)

“Well, the pastor has 30 years experience” (He has 30 years of getting it wrong.)

“Well even Satan can quote the bible.” *always my favorite* (Yeah, ask yourself who’s most like Satan, me who’s supported you for a dozen years or the Pastor who begs for money every time you turn around, who’s prophesies are unfulfilled and who’s healings amount to nothing.)

So, eventually my wife was called to independently read her bible, question the inconsistencies in her pastors sermons, realize that not only did he cherry pick but he ‘reinterpreted’ the bible whenever something didn’t fit with his teachings. I know the times I went there and the tapes of his I had listened to always seemed to have him say “Well in the original Greek, this means ****.” But anyone who cared to look it up could readily see it his statement was false. But you could look around and know no one did.
(I’ve studied French, German and Russian, so I have a desire to check.)

Common defenses for pimps:

· Don’t judge. (or only God can judge)
· Don’t touch the anointed.
· You’re no better, you sin too.
· You hate, are jealous and have issues.
· He leads people to God (assumption made).
· You’re causing disunity in Gods people.

There are others, but none of them deal with the accusations and objections. They simply say that the messenger has a problem and fail to deal with the message.

My wife would say a bad messenger has a bad message but was hard pressed to state exactly why I was a bad messenger. Not even bothering to know that that’s simply bad logic.

So, you can sit on the fence and ‘let God deal with him’ or, do as the bible commands and take a freaking stand.

Personally, I think that the stand this site is taking is pretty tame considering you could find in the bible where such as these false prophets are to be put to death-Deuteronomy 18:20.

And if you think the cutesy names disrespects and dishonors the pimps? My wife’s pimp summed it up nicely when he ‘reinterpreted’ what ‘honor’ means.

“In the Greek, honor means financial gifts. Others things too but financial was important and first. So, when you’re called to honor someone, like your man of god, you need to do so financially.”

They really don’t care what you call them, just don’t call them broke.
