I cannot believe that video. How is he gone say that “images lead to idolatry” when so many of his MegaFest “guests” are the epitomy of what he was preaching against in this”sermon”. Unbelievable!!!!!
Ok, here was the celebrity guest list–Aretha Franklin, then Will Smith shows up with his wife. The concert last night was a “red carpet” affair. Next year, I’m expecting someone like Mancow or Jim Rome there, you just watch.
What’s wrong with that exercise/fitness video. I work out everyday and I think Donna’s tape is great! I guess you don’t exercise or you are just a little jealous or not fit for the kingdom. God wants us fit, you know keeping that temple straight , not fat! Get a life and get busy!
There’s nothing wrong with an exercise video. It’s the silly attempt to market it as a “spiritual” experience with trite ties to the Holy Spirit that irritates people. If it’s an exercise video then call it that. Don’t try to to establish a religious branding. Besides, other than the attempt to tie it to Christianity, what’s the difference between this, Jazzercise, and Jack Lalane? Marketing, pure and simple. But they’re not honest enough to admit they’re marketing you.
Is it a big deal? No. But it’s pretty much indicative of what the church has come to in both trivial and critical matters.
Exercise? I swim laps everyday. Oh excuse me - I swim in the Spirit to keep my weight off every day…okay, every other day. Gotta keep that temple ready in case the whale spits me out and I have to swim the rest of the distance to shore.
To futher the argument, I also question what some of the women have on. I saying, i’m not trying to knit-pick or anything, but why do they have to wear these tight, deepcut tops - with the stomach out, and the tight sweats? Yet this is a “spirtual” excersise vid? As a young man, it wouldn’t be wise for me to purchase this on the grounds of struggling alone. I’m like everyone else, I love exersice, but everything should be done in decency and in order.

Decency is in the eye of the one judging. But what we have to remember is even though it is lawful for us to do things all things are not benefical for us less we cause a brother or a sister to fall into temptation.
nothing is wrong with exercise/fitness video but why keep the outside fit and the inside unfit ,you get my mean. like the church clean outside but dirty in side with all those false preachers/
None of this have anything to do with Walking right before God and with Him. what’s surprising is that no one reads their bible any more, neither are they willing to follow Jesus Christ becuase( “oohh my” thats Just too spiritual For me…Ant that right…pharessees”?..they’ll probably asnwer salvantion is confession by faith in Christ. But when my bible says its repentance and faith in Christ and carry my cross….
