I’m a Superman fan; have been since I was a child a long, long, looong time ago. One of the characters I really liked was Bizzaro Superman. He resembled the Man of Steel, but he wasn’t him. He was not as smart, he did things in reverse, and he wasn’t nearly as good looking.
Creflo will probably be the Uber Pimp when Fred and Ken shuffle off this stage of flesh. And you have to admit that Creflo is incredibly well polished.

When you first view the video you can’t help but laugh at Kerney screaming like a fool. But after viewing it a second time you kind of feel sorry for the poor guy. He was really expecting a miracle healing and it didn’t happen. Even though we don’t know how the call concluded we can assume that he was told he didn’t have enough faith or that he didn’t send back his anointing handkerchief with some money or something like that. The point is that poor soul was hurting and was expecting a miracle healing but instead he got pimped.
I do believe that prayer can bring healing but if that poor soul’s arms are hurting that bad he needs to first see a doctor and then pray pray pray for healing.
I believe prayer can bring healing as well. However, I don’t think Kerney expected a healing.
I put this up not just so you could get a laugh, but so you would feel some sense of outrage both at the deception and wasted time on the part of the mah out of Iowa and the fact that Kerney is doing such a powerful job of making Christianity look like such an idiot’s activity. In my view, he literally blasphemes the name of God among the gentiles. The only difference between Kerney and the dynamic duo of Copeland and Dollar is Kerney lacks the polish and has yet to get the resources. Look at the video again and you will see that unlike Copeland, Kerney’s studio is a wall, probably some place in his house.
Melvin, I am sorry, but I have to side with NCW, the screamaing was funny. I personally was not expecting this and when I heard and saw him screaming, I laughed because he resembled a fool. But, you are correct, the deception is an outraged. To take what is supposed to be a blessing and a Gift from God and use it as a way to make a profit is horrible. What they are doing is making a mockery out of God.
That’s the thing about this stuff. It is funny. A comdy writer wouldn’t have been able to write something funnier. The first time I saw one of his performances, and when I read his letters, I was rolling on the floor laughing my heinie off. The reason I put these out here is because they make the men look like idiots. And that helps Joe Average Christian not be afraid to speak out against these bozos and bosettes. Yes, Fast Eddie is the CEO of a multimillion dollar organization, but he is still a moron when it comes to rightly dividing the word of God. Letting you see this idiocy - Kerney, Copeland, and the rest) insures that you understand that they are not greatly anointed men of God, just pimps out to separate you from your money.

Exactly, the clip looks more like something from comedy central rather than a Christian program. But then it turns from funny to serious when you hear the tone of that guy’s voice. We should get upset over this.
Kerney’s a straight up huckster, a joker….a Pimp! It seems he does crusades from city to city using cheap Holiday Inn reception rooms to do his thing. I’ve never heard him preached, have never heard him quote a scripture (outside of Acts 19:12 which he uses out of context), I don’t even think he pastors a church. I think it just him, his wife and a small group of helpers caravanning from city to city pimping people for cash (kind of reminds me of the “Rev Sam” Good Times episode). A handkerchief alone won’t bring you healing, you sending some huckster some cash won’t bring you healing. When it comes to healing you should be practical in your approach as well as a spiritual. Put your trust in God first, pray and then let the doctors do their thing.
I agree with you Melvin that Kerney isn’t no way close as polished as Copeland or Dollar. Compared to them he’s like a court appointed lawyer. If giving a chance the big dawgs probably wouldn’t even let him hang with them. Some sad stuff.
Melvin, I heard of Kerney Thomas, the miracle handkerchief man, but I never had a chance to see him in action, until I viewed your clip. I have to agree with you, I would give my money to Creflo before I would give it to Thomas. ….AND GOOOOOODD!!! BECAUSE GOOOODDDD!! That alone shocked and scared me out of my seat. I actually laughed at this part because he resembled a joke. And the poor caller who was expecting a miracle? He probably would have had a positive result had he visited a quack doctor.
However, I took it upon myself to view another Kerney Thomas’ clip titled, “More, More, More;” no need to go further, the title alone shall tell you what this is about. Nonetheless, he does that screaming again: “More, More AND MOOOOORE!!!!” What is up with the screaming? Is the Holy Ghost suddenly hitting him?
After watching his clips, the first thought that popped into my head was an equation: Jim Jones + false prophet = 914 followers dead. Man, I feel sorry for those who believe in the “speak it into existent preaching;” for these false prophets have failed to tell them:

Melvin & ajcarter: Unfortunately, In my view, Kerney’s antics go far beyond being mildly amusing as well as a sure-fire way of bolting viewers out of bed to start their days (I mean, just how many ear-splitting howls of “Gaaahhhhhhhwwwddd” can someone endure and remain peacefully sleeping??!!). It takes no “rocket scientist” to quickly determine that Thomas’s callers are truly suffering from pain, or are enmeshed in terrible and destructive relationships, or are, most sadly, folks who are genuinely coping with a financial crisis.
So, what does this shameless charlatan purport to do for the “benefit” of his viewers? Does he really cause pain and horrific diseases to miraculously disappear…no. Does he have the ability to miraculously cause relationships to suddenly improve…no, of course not. What he does do (and appears to do it quite effectively) is to all but reach through viewers’ television sets and demand that the viewer immediately order the “Personal Prayer Package” which offers viewers “Brother” Kerney’s super duper secret telephone number enabling viewers to call in (”order”) their requests for miracles in a fashion little different than if these viewers were ordering a Big Mac and fries through the drive-through window!!
Without demonstrating so much as the slightest degree of compassionate concern and regard for the genuine pain with which his viewers suffer, Thomas takes full advantage of their gullibility by promising everything, but delivering absolutely, precisely nothing save to cleverly separate these poor souls from whatever meager resources they may have.
I ask myself just how callous any human being can be that knowingly bilks desperately-needed money from folks who are clearly in the midst of genuine crises in their lives??? How can a person (especially a person claiming to be a “Man of God”) stare into a camera for an hour or more each morning knowing full well that he is “conning” good, trusting people in dire need (enduring terrible diseases and/or financial distress) out of the precious few dollars they may have left in their pockets???
I wish I had enough insight into the mind of someone who would stoop so low as to take money and offer false hope to some very desperate people, willing to offer up their last buck in the hopes of receiving a “miracle”. However, I just do not have that kind of insight into people.
I can only wish that his “followers” start to realize what is happening and/or he is taken to task for violating some sort of federal or state regulations and will need to put through a United States Postal System “permanent” change of address form to an institution more than pleased to take him “off the air” and prevent any more souls to be fleeced!!!
I went to his website just for the sake of curiosity after reading some of these posts. The first thing that struck me was the “testimonies” (especially the first lady of african american decent) and any person who has had training in radio/television could see that that was rehearsed. You could see her eyes moving as if she was reading a cue card. Poor acting at best.
I often wonder how people can get tied up with characters like him but the bible does speak about this happening in the end times. I also have to remember that at one time I was slightly caught up in this stuff. One has to ask the question of someone who follow this type of stuff, where is your heart really. If it is not tied up in money, then there is no way you would follw these guys. Funny thing is, most of the people that follow these guys are poor to middle class. The rich know better.
Hey, Sorry GUy just reading the comments and what you don’t really know is what is keeping you in a box. I’m more than sure some of the comments about this PAstor weren’t from GOD but from your own heart. This Pastor is actually a Pastor over a church in Baytown near Huston, How do I know, because I went there myself last week. Further more he does preach, infact he preached about how to have Faith instead of Fear. I’m sure at the conclusion of this test you will have thought I was a sucker or just someone who is open but you don’t know me so what you would say will be an assumption of your own mind. I’m not a hardcore beleiver in giving money to any church and what I do give is my business. It is not such a big deal to give money to donations for Beer, sex, porn, supporter of abortion ect… So why such a big deal about giving money to support someone who is preaching the Gospel. And by the way the place where the video was taken is not at his house, it’s at his church, which is actually a warehouse. He doesn’t need a beautiful background to convince anyone.

Because do you realize in his denial of the Triune God he is not saved? Do you realize he is denying the nature of God as a whole? I was foolish in 2004 to send Kerney Thomas $$ with the prayer handkerchief. One month later, my body started to swell up with fluid & the doctors thought I had kidney failure. Just as soon as I stopped watching that mess & opening his envelopes two months later, I was healed and it was just an “unknown” virus. Stick with the scripture and what it says on healing. i can’t understand some people, why do this person have to be so fake.why can’t he have a different way of presenting himself. for me everyone is different, and we should not want to be like anyone else. GOD will have the final word. To see a man of God do his job without others always trying to call him down.
