Thanks to my VOPWM we have a new capability. If you type in a Bible reference, the site’s plug-in will automatically create a link to that verse in Bible Gateway. Try this one for instance: Romans 16:17.
Once there, you can switch between NASB and a couple of others. Those of you who want the same version Paul used can get to the King James Version.
Consider:
The missing element in every human ’solution’ is
an accurate definition of the creature.
The way we define ‘human’ determines our view
of self, others, relationships, institutions, life, and
future. Important? Only the Creator who made us
in His own image is qualified to define us accurately.
Human is earth’s Choicemaker. Psalm 25:12 He is by
nature and nature’s God a creature of Choice - and of
Criteria. Psalm 119:30,173 His unique and definitive
characteristic is, and of Right ought to be, the natural
foundation of his environments, institutions, and re-
spectful relations to his fellow-man. Thus, he is orien-
ted to a Freedom whose roots are in the Order of the
universe.
Let us proclaim it. Behold!

But you and others who insist we play a part in our salvation have still not answered the primary question:
Why did I choose God and the man standing next to me reject God?
And please don’t come back with discussions about circumstances, sensitivity, etc, etc. Each one of those will simply be responded to with “Why did I respond differently than the fellow in EXACTLY the same circumstance.
Again, why did one man, dead in his sins, accept Christ, but another, equally dead in his sins, reject Him. And no, the one who rejected never accepted. He died and ended up in hell. Why the difference? What in the individuals determined the different outcomes?
