the suffering you’re talking about sounds like the mythical place of purgatory that catholicism teaches. Jesus went to hell in the sense of hell being the grave only. the wages of sin is death, and being that He took on our sin, He suffered the penalty of physical death. His body didn’t suffer corruption(decay or destruction) because He arose from the dead. in Psalm 16:10, david speaking prophetically concerning Jesus, says that His soul wasn’t left in hell (the grave) nor was it allowed to see corruption (destruction). Jesus did all His physical suffering during His brutal beating and subsequent crucifixion. (Isa. 50:6, Luke 22:63-64, Mark 15:15-20) the Scriptures don’t teach Jesus suffered in hell- this is a lie.

The S is capitalised because the KJV is written in a form of old English that doesn’t have speech marks! It’s the beginning of a sentenced spoken by Abraham so the letter S is capitalised - basic English grammar.

Have you ever heard of “The BlackChurchPage” website? I’m not sure as to what their focus is, but there are some controversial subjects such as “Ministers who are Masons”.

I’ve challenged that issue and the people are having a hard time with it. In fact, every new post I’ve attempted to do after the last response, the site won’t let me successfully post it!

According to 2 Timothy 3:16 scripture rebukes. So since Melvin Jones is using what he believes is scripture then he is able to do this.

2 Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, correction, for instruction in righteousness. . .

Now I do not agree that Epistles (letters) are scripture. I used to, but I do not. Someone is going to have to prove to me, some kind of way, that letters (Epistles) are scripture. And if they are scripture then why aren’t all of Paul’s Epistles included here because that would mean we do not have all scripture. Do you see what I mean?

I also challenge anyone to a debate on proving to me that 65 books of the Bible are scripture. I have gotten new Revelation that ONLY the Psalms (Tehillah) is scripture. So you can come to my site:

When I visited your site, the first thing I noticed was that you said it was a debate site. Sorry Bro, but what does the word say about debating and debates? I almost got into a few debates here but my bible tells me not to get involved in endless debates. I already had to apologize and repent for gossip. I will only take a discussion so far and if you noticed or ever read any of my postings, I usually end it when it gets to the point of endless debates. I don’t know if you have matured to that level yet but I would suggest you follow suit. But if you are still struggling in the baby stages, I can understand and woujld say debate brother as I cannot do the job of the Holy Spirit for you. And you say you are a minister?

WHERE does it say in the Bible that Jesus SUFFERED in Hell??

CHAPTER AND VERSE………

Because Jesus was IN Hell He suffered?? Psalms talks prophetically about Jesus going to Hell…….

2:25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

Act 2:26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Act 2:27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Now…….where does it say HE SUFFERED at the hands of the devil there?? NOWHERE!!!

Just because He WENT there, doesn’t mean HE suffered via the devil.

He has the keys of Death and Hell because as the Risen Lord HE CONTROLS THEM. THAT”S WHAT KEYS DO……..control access.He never SUFFERED there!!

Or, do you think the Father suffers there everyday too?? Because He’s omnipresent too,y’know. He is present even in Hell.

Psa 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou (God) [art] there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou (God) [art there].

Now………….if GOING to Hell means Jesus (Who is God) SUFFERED in Hell, does the Father (Who is God as well) suffer there too?? Because HE is there RIGHT NOW .He was there in the past. And you said that if Jesus WENT there, He HAD to suffer. So since the Father went there too……….according to your twisted rantings…………THE FATHER MUST HAVE SUFFERED THERE TOO.

There is nowhere we can go where He is NOT……..including Hell. The Scripture says so plainly right here.

So……….if Jesus going to Hell means HE suffered at the hands of the devil, then the Father must suffer there too, right?? IS HE SUFFERING THERE RIGHT NOW?!?!? And if not, why not?? SCRIPTURE PLEASE………

Heck, the very verse YOU CITE makes it clear that even LAZARUS DIDN”T SUFFER IN HELL. So if LAZARUS represents JESUS (in your goofy eisegesis), then JESUS DIDN”T SUFFER, because LAZARUS DIDN”T SUFFER.

READ IT……..
