We’re back! It seems traffic on the site has increased so much that we had to increase the size of the server we are using. I must say I was surprised at that particular turn of events.
My vastly over-priced webmaster did the yeoman’s share of the work involved in getting the site back up. In fact, if the truth be known, I just sat, wrang my hands, and nattered on about how the we gotta get the site back up. He identified the problem, figured out the cause, and better than that, figured out how to get us back on line.
Well, we’re back. And we’re planning a couple of improvements I think you will really like. I’ll tell you about them in the coming weeks.
I thought maybe your opponents rallied together and hacked the site…Nevertheless, that was one of the good problems, your site is growing. You might want to be alil more proactive with the monitoring software.
EXACTLY…I thought…that dang on anonymous (whichever one) done got smart and hacked the system. That was my first thought…But it was only funny for a minute…Thank God for the vastly over-priced webmaster!!!

Maybe you should start a server fund. Some think this is your church. and since you’re outgrowing the current server, it is a fine time to move on up to the next level by following the cloud!!! I can see it now a HP DL585, with quad processors and gigs and gigs of memory!! There will be enough room for everyone!

While I can appreciate your sarcasm, I think that it wouldn’t hurt the efforts of Pulpit-Pimp.org if there was pay-pal account for the site that people could donate to if they wanted to. (not by compulsion). I can only imagine how much a vastly over-priced webmaster cost. I would donate some cash to it.

I hope this website becomes part of the christian lexicon!! I think to raise money for the over-priced webmaster, we should rent the finest ballroom in Maryland, and have ourselves a “black tie” affair!! Melvin could put the pix of himself (gladiator, Indiana Jones, etc) all over the place, and we could charge $100 a plate. Maybe we could invite Flava Flav to be the emcee!! We would have to have very tight security, but I would be first in line with a “Saks” giftcard, for the “First Lady.” …….Actually, I agree with PL, and would donate, but I guess that shows my level of melvinism…
