William,

I don't have time to read all of your numerous post. But I totally agree with you when you said, ".....There will be no Pentecostal, Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Catholic (most of them are heretical), Methodist, nor Protestant sections in God's Kingdom."

They all talk about each other for various reasons. But ALL Protestant denominations have FALSE and heretical teachings. They've all ERRORED concerning their doctrines on salvation, justification, and tithing.

Protestants accuse the Jehovah Witnesses of misinterpreting scriptures. But they do the exact same thing in formulating their doctrines. The Baptist call the Jehovah Witnesses "cults". But their salvation doctrine is more damaging than some Jehovah Witness teachings. So who's the real "cult"?

By the way, what denomination are you?

I am not judgemental like you are sir. Get a grip, and stop trying to always refute what someone says, you and the "good Rev". This blog is over, I am tired of casting my pearls.

(MN: Where have I been judgmental? I assume by judgmental you mean condmemning. Unless I am mistaken, you just compared me to a swine. How condemning is that?)

Now, to the answer to your question. This may hit you under the collar (remember, I am at work, and speaking with you at the same time, but I am on my break and I can break it down for you).

The bible states that if any man has tasted of the goodness of God and looks back, he is not fit for the Kingdom of God. Now I don't know if you believe in the once saved always saved false doctrine, but if you leave the fold and give no consideration of what you are doing, (keep in mind, I'm not talking about any particular denomination), you are not fit to be in the Kingdom and are not fit to be called a brother or a sister in Christ.

So I hope that answers your question, because that's what the Spirit is giving you. But keep in mind, God is married to the backslider and the sheep that got away so, there is always hope to come back. So if you leave and stay gone, then there is no covering.

Please remember that I am not talking about any particular church, denomination or doctrine. It's all Christ's church, I don't care what the name is on the front. It could be called Dog Fight Church and it would still belong to him. Remember Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven is like a net that is cast into the sea. You get all types of fish (denominations, beliefs, characters, etc.)

But he will sort the fish (his children) from the crabs (the ones that bring strife amongst the body), that don't belong there. So to answer your question straitway, my answer is NO. If you leave the church and stay gone, you have given up your right to be called a brother. But I believe that is not the case with you, so it doesn't apply to you.

One love in Christ.

(MN: Thank you for such a direct answer. Here is why I kept trying to make sure of your view. In part of your discsussion earlier you said, or at least strongly implied, that rejecting the Oneness teaching equals leaving the church. If I understood you correctly, as long as I hold to a trinitarian doctrine, then I am outside the church. And if I am outside the church, I am lost. If I were to die right this moment I would, as the phrase goes, die in my sins. By extension, if I die in my sins, then that means I do not have the Spirit of God. The Bible says in Romans 8 that if we do not have the Spirit we are none of His. If we, who reject the Oneness teaching, are without the Spirit (unsaved because we are not His), then we cannot be your brothers and sisters. I went through all of this to try and make sure that even though you are saying "The differences don't matter," your every statement says quite the contrary.

I don't think any of the Trinitarians who read the postings on the site have a problem with you saying we are lost. If you say that, at least you are being consistent. But to say with one breath that we are your brothers and sisters, and then with the next that we are outside the church and will be eternally separated from God if we don't repent of the doctrine is quite conatradictory.

As Rev_AK said, I believe your are quite sincere. But you really don't seem to have chased the implications of what you believe out very far. You are certainly welcome to comment on this, but until you resolve what I believe to be a significant contradiction, I'm not sure how productive additional commenting will be. All the readers have your e-mail address and can contact you if you wish, if you choose not to resolve the glaring contradictions. )

Ok, I 'm ganging up, but how can we have the need to "repent and turn away from our sin..." and "stay blessed"? Also, this is not an Instant Messenger; it is hard to keep up with the postings.

I hope they have not proven to be too distracting. )

The holy ghost has led me to this point. Arguing with critics is pointless...you all will always have something to say about something. It is a sad thing, but you can't help it. You accuse any brethren who doesn't agree with you. Well I leave you with this statement.....Repent and turn away from your sin or you will never see God. Stay blessed. No need to respond to this.

Note to Melvin- if he does respond to the brother/sister thing, I would like to tell him I have been challenged before by people of his faith, i.e. "have you been down in the name?" but I also have respect for your site and unless Deb or Damagoh or someone else responds, I would like to let you handle it because I assume you are only allowing William to post because it is good reading for all of us and allows us a peak into the mind of the pimped. (such were some of us) Also, i do not wish to give the young man a feeling are "ganging up" on him. BTW, this guy is eerily similar to the guy who said his parents were strict and then said "God" told him to leave. Think its the same guy??

Just answer the question, yes or no?

(MN: I'm not answering the question yet. We still have an issue to settle becuase you have presented a major contradiction. You insist that I am your brother AND that I have left the church. Until you explain how this can be, we are simply talking past each other. If you can't or won't explain it, say so and then we can talk about something else as you feel comfortable. Of course if you choose not to settle the issue first, we are at an impasse. It's your choice. But I sure hope you choose to step up and engage in the conversation. Your question asking about whether or not I have the Spirit is, at this point, somewhat irrelevant until we settle the issues at hand. )

This position is a a great perspective into how a oneness preacher can come and preach at JKJ's church or any other trinitarian church.

Have you notice how the tone in the messages change the more Melvin refuses to budge on his position? I bet if JKJ challenged Jakes and stood firm on the Trinity, he too would have the same experience, and find that Jakes, Noel Jones, etc. don't accept him.

William was fine as long as he could present a false sense of tolerance, but his response becomes more and more intolerant for the Trinitarian. First, it was all good, then he refers to the Trinity as a man made doctrine, then he accuses Trinitarians as the killers of other Christians, then he states that there is no distinction, Jesus plays the role of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Trinitarians would view this as a schizophrenic Jesus, who talks to himself and answers!

Anyway, my observation is this exchange can be considered a model for the oneness' approach to converting the "unsaved" Trinitarian. That's why I always say that Jakes and others will always preach at JKJ's church and other like it because it is viewed as a missions trip, UNTIL they encounter resistance then the true feeling will arise.

Now back to my question. Do you have the Spirit Rev?

(MN: One thing at a time William. One thing at a time. Let's work out the brother/sister thing first. )

And I am not talking about speaking in tongues either. I am talking about repenting, getting baptized, and receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost. So don't try to trap me Melly Mel.

The only thing that joins us as brothers and sisters is the Holy Ghost. No man can say Jesus is the Lord but by the Holy Ghost. Does that answer your question Rev.

(MN: No, it does not answer my question. I did not ask "What makes us brothers?" I asked "How can you say we are your brothers and sisters if we have, by your measure, left the church?" )

Do you have the spirit Rev?

(MN: That's not the issue at the moment. The question on the table is: How can we have the Spirit if we have left the church? And how can we be your brothers and sisters if we do not have the Spirit?)

But I still hold true that if you do not have the Spirit of Christ, you are none of His. These are not my words, Rev.

(MN: It's not a question of whether or not they are your words. The question is: How can you say we are your brothers and sisters if we do not have the Spirit? You can't have it both ways. Either we are your brothers and sisters or we are not. Which is it?)

No offense concerned christian brother or sister (you didn't disclose it), I may not have all the answers to the bible and neither do you. But I do know this, I have the Holy Ghost and without the Holy Ghost, you will not be saved. And I have the gift of the Spirit. So don't judge what you don't know or don't understand. Just because you left the church doesn't mean I or others will. There are millions of trinitarians and there are millions of so-called "jesus only". Big deal I won't judge you and you will not judge me.

(MN: I wasn't going to say anything, but your post kind of insists I say something.

Throughout your postings you have said things like: You're my brother in Chrst, the differences don't matter, etc.

But now you are saying that I have left the church. How could I be a Christian (your brother in Christ) if I have left the church?

You say that you have the Holy Spirit, seeming to imply that I do not. After all, from what you ahve said, if I did, I would view the Trinitarian doctrine as a error, as you do. If I do not have the Holy Spirit then I am none of His and therefore am not saved. But if this is so, then again that says I am not your brother in Christ. Instead, I am lost.

So which is it? Are we brothers in Chrsit despite our differences, or do I not have the Spirit? )
