Here’s my problem: I maintain that these people (John Jenkins, the Dukes of Hazzard, Paul Morton, T. Dexter Jakes, and the rest) see you as a market, not a ministry. The idea of doctrinal accuracy plays a very low second place to selling you books, tapes, and CDs. The ability to draw a crowd far outweighs the ability faithfully exegete the Scriptures and thus effectively feed and equip the sheep. (more…)
