The offerings aren't meant to be spent on mansions, mercedes and designer clothes!! I have watched a very good brother in Christ be totally blinded and corrupted by wealth and it is not a pretty sight. I don't believe that money, with right thinking, is a bad thing. However, if it is used in a self-absorbent way, as Creflo and others do, that is wrong. I suggest you get into the Word of God and ask the Lord to reveal to you the error in your thinking. He says in Jeremiah 33:3, "Ask, and I will answer thee; and show thee great and mighty things which you know not.." The Lord allowed me to see some of these guys for what they are when I first got saved and Melvin is right, they are fleecing the sheep. I only say these words in Brotherly Love. The Word say give and it shall be given unto you. Good measure, Pressed down, Shaken together and running over shall men give into your bosom. That is why they have an offering, they never push anyone to give, but once you do you open the door for God to bless you. They have enough money already, as God is their source. What they are saying is the truth as it has worked in my life and I have seen it working in peoples lives around me. And did the word of God tell them that Jesus had Type G blood?
