Let’s revisit. I think the corporate memory has faded and needs refreshing.
This site is not here to lead the unsaved to Christ.
It’s not here to help those who are looking for God. The unsaved aren’t looking for God. They are avoiding and cursing Him. (Romans 5:10 - The unsaved are enemies of God; Romans 8:7 - The unsaved are hostile toward God)
It’s not here reconcile differences within the church between those who teach heresies and the believer.
It is here to call attention to those who would attempt to deceive the church with lies and fairy tales.
Why is this site here? In obedience to the following:
Acts 20:29-30
29 I know that after I have gone, savage worlves will com in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Some even fron your own group will come distorting the truth in order to entice the disciples to follwo them.
Romans 16:17, 18
I urge you brothers and sisters, to keep an eye on those who cause dissensionsn and offense, in opposition to the teachings that youve learned; avoid them. For such people do not serve our Lord Christ, but their won appetites; and by smooth talk and flattery they decieve the hearts of the simple-minded.2 Thess 3:14
Take note of those who do not obey what we say in this letter; have nothing to do with them, so that they may be ashamed. 15 Do not regard them as enemies, but warn them as believers.2 John 9 - 11
9 Everyone who does not abide in the teaching of Christ, but goes beyond it, does not have God; whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 Do not recieve into the house or welcome anyone who comes to you and does not bring this teaching; 11 for to welcome is to participate in the evil deeds of such a person.
Why am I spending money I could be using for flight training to maintain this site?
I’m doing it because most of you do-nothing Christians (Black, White, and Brown) are sitting around while the wolves and the pulpit pimps attack the sheep and make Christianity look like a clutch of pathetic, mind-numbed, monkey-drool losers. You do-nothing Christians piously misquote Scripture and say “Touch not God’s anointed!” while the slaughter continues.
Some of you sit in church clapping your hands and swaying back and forth becuase you really don’t know any better. Some of you, God forgive you, don’t want to know any better. And all the time, the wolves run amuck, fleecing the flock.
Some of you, when you read the stuff on this site will say “I didn’t know that! That’s not right!” Others of you, the ones who allow the wolves to continue to fleece the flock, will say “We are supposed to just love one another and enjoy unity, even at the expense of the truth. The pastor belongs to God and God will correct him. It’s not my job. And besides, even if it is heresy, it’s not going to send me to hell. ” You will then pretend you never read the scriptures I cited at the beginning of this page.
Some of you will even accuse me of being hateful, judgmental, and a host of other things.
But most of you will continue on your merry ways. If you wife likes the church you attend, nothing the pastor says or does will get you out of there unless your wife chooses to leave.
And the result? The body of Christ will continue to be pimped by the Big Dogs and the Big Dog wannabees.
Who are the wolves and the pimps?
Here is a Rogues’ Gallery of just a few of the bigger perpetrators with a couple of small pimps and pimpettes thrown in for Good measure. As I continue to add to the site, you can hear some of their foolishness or see some the their schemes by clicking on each pimp’s picture. Until I can get some audios in, I will simply continue to play their theme song P.I.M.P,. by Fifty Cent. The links at the top right hand corner of this page take you to more detailed information and analysis for of their “ministries”.
E-mails are welcomed. But I expect you to address the issues (the idiocies the people poison the sheep with), and not give some psuedo pious knee jerk response. Depending on your language, your responses will be published and I will gladly respond.

Melvin,
Just as you are being “obedient” to run this website to “warn”. Those are not the only instructions that GOD gave you when He issued you your “assignment” I’m sure. But I’ll cut it off here. If “they” are not giving sound doctrine, then who is? If you have the information on who is not; then you should have the information on who is. Let’s not be one sided now. Okay warn, that is your mission. But have some compassion on the people that you are warning, and give them somewhere to fellowship, before everyone ends up in your livingroom on Sunday morning. We know where you live!!!!
Monica,
As a matter of fact, at this point in the activity, the only thing I am to do is to warn and - to the degree I can through this site - educate people who may watch the pimps on television and (God forbid) send them money. Believe it or not, John Jenkins is not the primary subject of this site. He is, to some of the people who have visited it, the most well known to them. For some of them, my observations about John are personal.
One of the things I’ve been trying to avoid even the appearance of is trying to solicit membership or anything like that at the local church I am a part of. The church will grow, or not, as God decides. He doesn’t need or want my help in that or any other area.
Is the church I attend perfect? Hardly. But do they teach a different Gospel (e.g. Jesus suffered in hell for our sins, GOd is about 6 foot two and weighs about 200 pounds)? No. Does the leadership claim that we can speak realities into existence? No. I, like Augustine believe we should be unified in essentials and gracious in non-essentials. Jesus’ death on the cross is an essential, a non-negotiable. Whether we have communion once a month or every week is a non-essetial (for example).
The people who may respond to the assertions made on these pages by leaving the kinds of places warned about, will also be able to find a place that can encourage them to grow. If nothing else, they know my e-mail address and can ask.
Besides, there’s no point in coming out to my living room on Sunday morning. I’ll be in church!
However, if anyone is interested, you know my e-mail address.

Topic: False Teachings at FBCG
I do not condone this website, its title, nor all its contents. Yet saints who attend churches with “false teachings” need to wake-up……Cindy asked some very good questions. As a FBCG member, I’ve found myself questioning some things I’ve heard. Here are some teachings and philosophies that caught my attention:
1) “Once Saved Always Saved” (OSAS)
This doctrine says a person can never lose their salvation. It’s a popular doctrine preached in most denominational churches. Problem: The ministers failed to rightly divide God’s word. (2 Timothy 2:15) They use Romans 11:29 as the basis for this false doctrine.
Reality Check: In context, Romans 11:29 reveals one’s calling/election can’t be revoked. Yet it’s NOT saying that you will stay saved and make it into heaven. (Matthew 24:13) Your being chosen does NOT guarantee you’ll end up in heaven. Salvation is really a “process”. That’s why Apostle Paul said we have to “work” on it. (Philippians 2:12) Your belief in Jesus is just the initiation of the salvation “process”.
The following are a few scriptures that contradict the “OSAS” teaching:
Luke 13:3 and 5 (Either you repent or perish.)
2 Peter 3:9 (God desires everybody to repent in order to avoid perishing.)
Hebrews 12:14b (Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord.)
Matthew 18:3, Ephesians 5:5, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21 (These types of people cannot and will not enter heaven.)
Matthew 7:21-23 (Only those who do God’s will can enter into heaven.) See Matthew 25:43-47 also.
In summary, it takes more than “belief” to make it into heaven. Obedience to God is the only way to be “eternally” saved. (Hebrews 5:9)
2) “Repentance is not mandatory for salvation”.
During a recent Youth Day, Robert Manning made this statement during his sermon. He goes, “Rebuke that doctrine that says you have to repent to stay saved!!” A week later, Pastor Jenkins installed this liar as a FBCG minister.
Reality Check: Repentance was preached by John, Jesus, Paul and others in the bible. It’s also mandated in scriptures throughout the New Testament: Matthew 3:2, 3:8, 4:17; Luke 13:3, 13:5; Acts 2:38, 3:19, 17:30 (All men must repent), Acts 26:20; Romans 6:1-2a; 2 Peter 3:9
3) “Nobody is perfect./You don’t have to be perfect.” (an excuse)
Well, if this weren’t possible, God’s word would not have told us to “be” perfect. See Matthew 5:48; Colossians 4:12, Colossians 1:28, Ephesians 4:12-13 KJV
4) “You have no right to judge others./Judgment is wrong.”
Preachers who teach this have failed to rightly divide God’s word. So they select the scriptures that imply that judging is “wrong”.
Reality Check: There are circumstances and scriptures that give Christians the right to judge someone else. One must be careful to make sure they’re judging under the right conditions.
The following scriptures give Christians the right to “judge others”:
John 7:24 (Judge righteously.)
Romans 2:1-2 (Make sure you’re not a hypocrite when judging others.)
1 Corinthians 5:3 (Paul judged a sexually immoral person.)
1 Corinthians 5:11-13 (Judge those who are inside the church and remove fornicators, etc.)
1 Cor. 6:4-5 and 1 Cor. 11:31-32 (Judge among yourselves.)
1 Peter 4:17 (Judgment MUST begin inside the church.)
Admonishing and judging go hand and hand. Those are your responsibilities as a Christian.
5) “As a church member, you must pay tithes.”
Tithing was established under the Law. We’re not under the Law. (Sorry no time to further explain.)
6) “Public exposure is wrong”.
Reality Check: The bible vividly shows God exposing leaders when they are not living righteously. King David’s sin with Bathsheba is just one example. Other scriptures reveal that sinners will be exposed: see Numbers 32:23; Luke 8:17 Exposure and open rebukes serve as a warning to others. (1 Timothy 5:19-20)
7) FBCG’s definitions and beliefs about the Ephesians 4:11 ministry gifts are not all accurate. (For details, observe how they operate and take certain B.I. classes.)
In general, most denominational churches fail to realize the Pastor should be submitted to an Apostle and Prophet. (Ephesians 2:20) It’s not biblically correct for pastors to establish and cover other churches. That’s the apostle’s job.
There’s no scripture basis for this statement that’s frequently made by Pastor Jenkins. It sends the wrong message. (Ephesians 5:6; Colossians 2:8) It contributes to the mass amount of “non-converted” saints in the church. Christ is not returning for that type of church. (Ephesians 5:27)
Reality Check: The bible tells us to renew our minds (Ephesians 4:23, Romans 12:2); think like Christ (Philippians 2:5); change our behavior (Ephesians 4:21-32, Ephesians 5, James 1:22); STOP sinning (Romans 6:1-2, 6:12, 1 John 2:1a, James 4:8); etc., etc.
9) “My issues are none of your business.”
Here’s another non-scriptural quote of Pastor Jenkins.
Reality Check: The bible tells us to “confess” not hide our faults. (James 5:16) Christian’s should be sharing and bearing each other’s burdens. (Galatians 6:1-2) Today’s Christians need to stop their religious “acts”, remove their “masks”, and seek prayer for deliverance.
Conclusion: False doctrine, such as “OSAS” is extremely dangerous. It can have an impact on one’s eternal destiny. Most FBCG members believe this “OSAS” teaching that’s also taught in our Bible Institute classes. They won’t listen to contrary arguments. So ultimately, they might perish. (Hosea 4:6)
(Melvin I apologize for the long length of this comment. People who’ve been falsely taught need clarity not just scripture references.)
Anonymous,
Don’t worry about the length of the comments. The contents are at least interesting. Besides, I agree with some of it. And as the controller of the comments, I get to decide who gets posted and who doesn’t.
I do have a couple of observations though.
When you say A week later, Pastor Jenkins installed this liar as a FBCG minister you move from objectively identifying those things you disagree with (something we are encouraged to do) to trying to determine the intentions and motives of a pereson’s heart, something only God can do. Manning may be quite sincere in his belief, in which case he is deceived, but not lying. Just as John may be sinicere in his view of Jesus suffering in hell. Though I still doubt it.
Second, I suspect you have a somewhat distorted view of the OSAS doctrine. At one time, I was a proponent of the ability to lose one’s salvation. So I surely understand where you are coming from. But rather than trying to discuss it here on site, take a look at a pdf you might find interesting. Click here and download a most interesting pamphlet. Give it a read and see what you think The front of the pamphlet is actually on the right-hand side of page 2.
Just out of curiosity, why are you still attending FBCG?
Melvin
I have one questions. Why did you use http://www.fbcglenarden.com as your website? I came across your site by accident. I meant to go to http://www.fbcglenarden.org. You could have created any other website name. I am just curious on why you used the one you did?
Actually, the name of the site is http://www.pulpit-pimps.org. I purchased FBCGlenarden.com in order to redirect people who were looking for FBCG’s web site. The redirect also defaults the search to present only FBCG information. The reader has to ask for information on the other pimps.
The reason? To make sure folks who attend First Baptist or are thinking of attending First Baptist get the information presented to them as quickly as possible and in as much detail as possible, specific to FBCG.
I looked at doing the same thing with World Changers (Creflo Dollar) and a couple of others, but unfortunately they were too far-sighted and purchased the names themselves.

Did you ever read the book entitled “Pimps in the Pulpit” by H.E. Brown? Is that where you got your devilish title from?
Just Curious,
Yes, I did read the book. In fact, I provide something of a review of the book and a sample of one of the chapters right here.
I hope you don’t think I wanted people to think I came up with the phrase all by myself. I’m not that imaginative.
And while I don’t agree with everything Brown says, I think he did an excellent job of defining the essence of the pimpery within the Black AND White church.
Subject: OSAS
Oh no! Melvin, you and the FBCG ministry are terribly wrong. “Anonymous” needs to be teaching both of you!
I read that link you gave him/her. Like other OSAS proponents, the author did not rightly divide God’s word. So they were in “error” when using the “grace” scripture to justify “eternal salvation” without works. As James said, “faith without works is dead”.
Melvin’s Note: I would be more than happy to discuss this with you. But I would prefer it be off-line. You can even get in touch with me on AIM. I generally have my client running. My screen name is WOLFRECOVERIES. Or you can contact me at mjones@pulpit-pimps.org.
See my note on Curious’ latest comment. Just above this one.
Melvin
I use to attend World Changer in 1992-93, prior to them moving into the doom they are in today. Creflo had me chasing material wealth like nver before. I had always had the desire to be rich one day. A lady friend who ended up being my ex-wife introduced me to the church. To make a long story short, I paid my tithes and offerings and followed Creflo teachings faithfully without missing a service.
I found myself trying to be like Creflo instead of trying to be like Christ. I ended up in the mental institution. I literally lost my mind focusing on the material world instead of the spiritual world and the Kingdom of God. Creflo teaches prosperity without repentance from sin. Today I am delivered from this false teaching and I seek spiritual prosperity, the peace love and joy of the holy spirit, the Kingdom of God. Today I can’t even watch Creflo on tv his teachings are so off. He is definitely preaching another gospel aside from that of Jesus Christ. I’m sure I am not the only person who went into the mental institution following his doctrine of demons
Yeah - They tend to do that to you. You find yourself saying idiotic things like “I don’t receive this or that,” when Jesus and the New Testament say you must expect to “receive” things you don’t like.
Melvin
Anonymous made another posting addressing the doctrine of Eternal Security. As I told him (or her, for that matter) on the last round of postings: I would be more than happy to discuss the issue off-line. My e-mail is mjones@pulpit-pimps.org Drop me a line any time.
Melvin
Well, I’d like to see an “on line” discussion about it. Melvin, what are you afraid of? Let us see it please.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. We listen to you even though we don’t agree with you. So be fair and post everybody who takes time to write a response. Let the viewers decide if they want to agree or disagree with someone’s comments. Thanks.
Melvin’s Note: Why do people assume you are afraid of something because you are not willing to do it? I simply don’t want to bore the reader with slow and repitious back and forths that go nowhere. The closest I will come to discussing this is a post I’m working on called “Once Saved - Sort of Saved?”. The posting (which will be kind of long) will include and comprehensively address the latest comment by Anonymous (I assume they are all the same Anonymous). It will also have a Word version and a PDF version available for your downloading pleasure. And it will be open for comments. I should have it up in about four days(24 or 25 July 2005) - but don’t hold me to that. It hinges on me staying away from that great killer of time: Television. I am a confessed News junkie, and Jimmy Neutron addict, and Batman Beyond, and…
Well, at least you’re no longer ignoring the topic and its commentors. OSAS is a known theological controversy that’s critical for discussion. Why? A doctrine is either right or wrong.
Instead of your “Once Saved-Sort of Saved?”, please consider: “Once Saved Always Saved–A Dilemma” or “Can Salvation Be Lost?–A Dilemma” as titles.
Never ignoring it. Just trying to see how it would fit with the overall purpose of the site. I think it would fit under Christian Living.
There is only one problem with the titles you suggest: I don’t see this as a dilemma. But I’ll get into that in the paper. People who present salvation as something you can lose are not paying attention to the full counsel of Scripture. And despite what Anon says, he is distorting the doctrine badly.
I’ll cover all of this in the paper.
Melvin Jones
Melvin,
OSAS is a “doctrine issue” not a “christian living” subject. It’s part of the salvation doctrine that’s taught by various churches. So it should remain a “doctrine” issue………
OSAS is most certainly a “dilemma” because there’s a PROBLEM if there’s arguements for and against it. If a doctrine is wrong it can damage souls and cause a host of other doctrine errors. (Ephesians 4:14-15, 2 Peter 2:1)
Above you said “People who ……..are not paying attention to the full counsel of Scripture.” That’s a matter of opinion and one’s interpretation of the bible. So please put your best deck of cards out on the table for discussion. Then we’ll let GOD reveal who’s right vs. wrong.
Does anyone know of any gospel artists that are oneness. I know about Tonex’s affiliation with PAW and I heard that Fred Hammond was raised in an apostolic church. But are any others that you are aware of?
I do notice that oneness are far less dogmatic in their doctrines, but a lie is a lie is a lie no matter how much sugar you add to sweeten it.
Also could someone enlightem me as to the teachings of Betty Peebles. I used to watch her a long time ago but I lost the desire to continue for whatever reason. I guess the fact that I do not believe in female pastors has something to do with it.
I didn’t know Fred Hammond was apostolic!?
hmmmm……I wonder what influence it has on his music?
He is my favorite artist.
Let me verify that but I read it on an apostolic youth message board. You will find out what many oneness folks really think about us by readung some of the posts.I am referring to the Apostolic youth forum.
