I will go to your site, I hope it’s up. Further, are you servious about the statement made regarding the “Holy Ghost” as not providing food, etc.

I would like more information. For the record, don’t shed tears when people offend the Lord. Pray for them, because if you cry you are letting God know how hurt you are. He will then avenge your pain. Pray for them, this may give them another chance to make things right.

I have a typo in the commentary that makes a difference. It should read, “So this ungodly seed was planted 21 years ago and has NOW come to fruition.” “NOT” should be changed to “NOW”

First of all, I want to commend you for the detailed, intelligent work that you are doing on this website. You have a real calling for this and somehow or another, I think that we should collaborate. I became aware of your website as a result of your leaving a comment in our Guestbook. I have tried to warn our people on my link called “Beware Christian” but I don’t have the time to do the kind of research and follow-through as you do, since my emphasis is on other aspects of ministry. What I would like is either a link from my site to yours or for you to write a monthly column for me. If you write a column for me, what I would require is straight reporting, without the euphemisms, ie. Calypso Louie. In your particular genre and according to your style, such commentary is legitimate. However, I believe that it can be a distraction from the truth by those who will use literary satire and sarcasm to discredit the truth concerning “pulpit pimps.”

As to my specific comment regarding the church embracing minister Farakkan, the one who actually gave birth to this was Rev. Jesse Jackson during his political campaign in the State of New York in 1984. So this ungodly seed was planted 21 years ago and has not come to fruition in the AME Church. I remember it well. The Black and Puerto Rican Caucus held the so called “spiritual side” of its annual event at Wilborne Temple Church of God in Christ in Albany New York. It was the most obscene worship service that I have ever witnessed, very similar to what you have described. Only then, Minister Farakkan was not as cleverly engaging as he is now. In fact, he stood in a Pentecostal Church and blasphemed the Holy Ghost. I WILL NEVER FORGET HIS WORDS. HE SAID “THE HOLY GHOST DIDN’T PUT FOOD ON YOUR TABLE, AND YOUR CHILDREN ARE LAUGHING AT YOU BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR YOUR WORSHIP OF THE HOLY GHOST.” I sat right beside him in the pulpit, he to the left, and Jesse to the right— because I was on the program to do the prayer. Once Farakkan blasphemed the Holy Ghost in his message, I tried to run out of the church but the aisles were blocked. I was absolutely outraged with tears rolling down my face, shocked that the people had no discernment of what was going on. I have never stepped foot in Wiborne Temple again.
