In case you’re wondering, this site came about in a two step process. I’ve discussed John Coleman and the work he is doing on the West Coast. He has a site I like a lot and was doing a weekly radio show on KBRT in Los Angeles. They later kicked him off the air because he kept naming names. Imagine that, getting upset because he actually tried to warn people about specific pimps.
We have maintained a long-distance friendship. When we hooked up in Virginia for breakfast about a year ago, we talked and I felt encouraged to do something on the East coast. I knew I didn’t have the chutzpah or the discipline to do a radio show. Besides, who would want to put on a program that said not-nice things about some of the major money sources like Jenkins, Peebles, and others?
But there is another fellow who had an influence on me. I’ve never communicated with him, although I have tried in order to get permission to publish a couple of portions of his book on this site. His name is H. E. Brown. And the book he wrote (and self published, I do believe) is “Pimps in the Pulpit.”
While not everything he says about the pimps is true about all of them, and while certailny not all pastors (probably not even most) are pimps, you will see a great deal of accuracy in what he says as he applies it to the average huckster-pastor.

While I don’t necessarily agree with some of what he says about the purposes of the church organization and its relationship with the community, he does appear to be right on the money when describing the church pimp, whether that fellow or felless is black, white, or brown.
But let’s review. Why am I putting this information out here? For three reasons.
1. I want to give the pimps and the pimpettes an opportunity to turn from what they are doing and turn to the truth. In so doing, they save themselves an awful lot of trouble when they face Jesus Christ at Judgment. (2 Corinthians 5:10 )
2. I want to warn those of you who figure it’s God’s job to correct the pimps that you will have to aswer for pouring good money after bad and being instrumental in bringing in and keeping people around the pimps.
3. I want to makes sure that no one who reads the information on this site will be able to offer Jesus Christ any kind of weak-kneed excuse about why they didn’t do anything to stop the slaughter (Deacon Lee, Deacon Hinds, and Deacon Hughes pay attention).
Remember what the bible says:
Romans 14:10 - We will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
2 Cor 5:10 - We must all appear beore the judgment seat of Christ, so that we may each be recompensed for his deeds.
2 Timothy 2:25 - Bring them back to the truth.
Hey Uncle Melvin!
Great website. I love the changes.
I was reading the comments, and even though I know that you don’t care that people are saying mean (and untrue) things about you, I want to set the record straight.
My uncle is the most patient person I know. I honestly cannot think of someone more patient. Whenever I have a question about bible study - always feel comfortable enough to call and ask him. And please don’t think that he gives me straight answers - he only points me to scripture [as a matter of fact , this site is the only place I can go to get some straight answers from him]. My uncle is so intent on being biblically accurate , he only gives me answers through it. Whenever I don’t agree with something he says, we always work it out through scripture. This way, I always learn , only what is biblical.
So, don’t think that my uncle is doing this because he is mean-hearted , or that he is just doing this because he doesn’t like someone. He is doing this because it really does tell us to do so in the bible. He may particularly enjoy doing this , when most people would be scared, but he does other stuff that is not as amusing. Like the monotonous job of teaching me a biblical principle that is fairly simple (for hours , when I don’t get it).
Uncle Melvin, keep up the good work.
Ayana
Thanks Ayana. I appreciate the encouragement.
Let me know when I can give another indirect answer.
