What do T. Dexter Jakes, Eddie Long, Kenneth Copeland and a host of other pulpit pimps have in common? I mean - what do they have in common besides their faulty doctrine?
I’ll give you a hint: Take a look at the books they produce. Take a look at the contents of those books. Usually, there are few or no Bible references. And the ones that are listed are usually distortions of what the Bible actually says. They present a scripture, twist it until it screams, and then preach on that twistig until you get worked up. Of course all of these lessons will in some way or another involve sowing seeds into THEIR ministries. And they all depend on you being either biblically illiterate or completely lacking in a backbone.
In fact, just so you don’t think I’m lying, take a moment and listen to this set of clips from Cashflow Dollar. As I said previously, it’s kind of long, but it really illustrates these pimps’ habit of feeding you scripture and making it say what they want it to say.
Their Studies are no different.
Their books are the same way. Since they are anointed, apparently we are to accept what they say simply because they say it. And if one of them says “Jesus was the first born again man,” then we should accept that.
Generally, the books and pamphlets have no content of any benefit to the Christian. And they say blasphemous things about the Son of God, your Savior.
If your church sells some of the trash these guys put out, ask your elders to explain why they are selling stuff that apparently denies the deity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
You people usually repsond in three or four ways:
1. That teaching isn’t going to send me to hell.
2. Well, I just wouldn’t pick him as my pastor.
3. He belongs to God and God will straighten him out.
4. You don’t have a heaven or hell to send me to, so why should I listen to you?
But if you listen to them, if you listen to what they are saying, and you know anything about God, who can you listen to him and not fear for his very soul and for the souls of those who would seek salvation through his teachings?

From 1996-2001, I was very involved with a church whose idol was Creflo Dollar. When God opened my eyes and got me out of there, I researched the whole Word of Faith movement (my former pastor denied that he was into it). The more I listen to Creflo, the sicker the feeling in my gut. His mentor is Kenneth Copeland. Some of the sound clips sound almost exactly like Kenneth Copeland speaking. He has studied not only Copeland’s teachings, but his mannerisms and voice inflections. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Edna(?).
I’m trying to make sure as many people as possible know what these guys are preaching and try to warn away those who haven’t already been trapped by them.
What has been your effectiveness in talking to other members in the church you rightly left behind?

When your life starts to fall apart and you wonder why, think back to this site.

And I would suggest you remember this site when you stand before the Bema seat of Christ (2 Cor 5:10 and other references). That seat is also called the Judgment seat. At that judgmment you will be held accountable for the things you did (and sometimes didn’t do). I don’t think Jesus will be too thrilled with your inaction and apathy.

I THINK WHAT YOU ARE DOING NEEDS TO BE DONE ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. CONTINUE TO LET GOD USE YOU TO CORRECT AND REBUKE WHAT OTHER MINISTERS ARE DOING.
This statement was made by Kenneth Copeland:
“It wasn’t a physical death on the cross that paid the price for sin…anybody can do that.”
(Kenneth Copeland, What Satan Saw on the Day of Pentecost, audiotape #BCC-19, side 1)
On the contrary Mr. Kenneth Copeland, our sins were indeed paid by JESUS bodily death on the cross.
Ephesians 2:13-16 - But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby.”
Christians “must” refute the heretics and their false doctrine with the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of the Living God.
2 Cor 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnel but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.
2 Cor 10:5 Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself agains the knowledge of God and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
In the love of Jesus Christ,
