It’s just too easy. I went out to Profit Jordan’s site to see what was new. He had a link to someone I have not seen or heard in years. In fact, I was thinking about this bloke a couple of days ago. It’s ironic he should surface now.
Now remember, for the most part you only provide links to people or organizations you approve. For example, you wouldn’t expect me to send you to a Oneness Pentecostal site for anything other than examples of what I’m trying to uncover. And you wouldn’t expect the NAACP to send you to a White Supremacy site except to warn you about them. Right?
It seems to follow that you wouldn’t expect Profit Jordan to send you to a site unless he approved of the contents, at least mostly approved. And if that’s so, either something is amiss or I have misjudged the good reverend all these years.
Here’s a shot of a part of Jordan’s home page. See anything familiar? You younger people might not recognize him. But most of us older people know exactly who this is. Yes!!!! It’s Reverend Ike!. Profit Jordan is promoting Rev. Ike and his progeny Bishop Ike.

Now, it’s really nice to see that Rev. Ike is still quite the sartorial example for pimpls everywhere. In fact, just as wolf packs have an alpha male, meaning the most dominant male in pack, I would be more than willing to think of Rev. Ike as the Alpha Pimp, the template, the example so to speak, for all of the pulpit pimps to follow. And since this is Black History month, it’s really nice to know that we have even been in the vanguard in religion (as opposed to Chrisitianity).
But who am I to begrudge the man for making a bunch of money off of people who should probably know better? My irritation and outrage comes from the sometimes unknowing victims like Henrietta, shown below with the alfpha pimp. Wouldn’t it be awful if this woman, in chasing after God, died in her sins, only to meet her maker without Jesus Christ. By getting pulled into Ike’s Christless religion, she very likely will enter eternity alone, without Christ. And that means this grandmother, as kindly as she may be, will spend that eternity in hell.
Can you see why these pimps are so dangerous? They offer a Christless gospel. The Christ who can save us did not suffer for three days in hell. He did not die spiritually and become the first born again man. The Christ they descibe is no Christ at all. And he offers no hope for the sinner (that’s you and me by the way.)
If your church leadership supports or in any way approves of these pimps, ask them to explain themselves. If you don’t you are doing nothing less than participating in their distortions.
By the way, the magazine that advertises Jordan - who promotes Ike, is shown below. Send them an e-mail and ask them why they continue to advertise for these pimps. What next? Ads from the Mormons?
